Fishing with stitches , San Diego Fishing June 29

Fishing La Lolla with a stitched up right finger. Beautiful day out on the water, bite was slow. Lantz ended up with 2 Sandbass one being a keeper. Water temperature was 69-71, lots of bait and birds.

Hi Michael, I use 6” grubs and large hookup soft lures. I like to stay heavy 2-3oz, it gets the lure down fast for a reaction bite. 80-150 gram Slow pitch, sumo, knife and pencil jigs are my preferred metal ones. Hope this helps, if you see us say hi
