Wow!! I can imagine on the end of "Unstoppable", Frank(Denzel W) and Will(Chris P) high fiving you. And, let's not forget you receiving that big kiss from Connie(Rosario D). Way to go, dude!!
In the movie, they tried putting two EMD SD40-2 loco's in the front to try and slow down 777, but since 777 and 767, combined HP was 8800, and the combined HP of the SD40-2's was 6000, it was no contest. The reason 1206 did better, was hooked up from the rear end and used it's dynamic brakes to drag 777 down.....at least until the traction motor's blew up......
11:50 As a European, Ive Never thought That the American loading gauge was that large considering they use standard gauge like us, Man that is a big locomotive, Hell even the Tanker cars Are bigger Than the Class 66

TSW4 did a thing where once you hooked up to 777, it MUed them with the Class 66, meaning once you hooked up, you were controlling their throttle and brakes as well, and the Class 66 wasn't _really_ stopping them itself. Also, just a cool tidbit, 777, and its twin 767, are GE AC4400CWs(numbers pronounced forty-four hundred)

THIS IS AWESOME!!!!, However, Next Time You Use Triple 7, Go Onto The Unstoppable Wiki, And Look Up The Triple 7 Train Layout From The Movie, Cuz It Has The Entire Layout On The Wiki, and here’s the full consist if your too lazy, first the front: 1 closed yellow hopper, 1 blue closed hopper, 2 closed green hoppers, 2 white closed dome shaped hoppers, 4 black tankers, 3 black open hoppers, now for the rear: 2 bulkhead flat cars, 4 tankers, 2 white closed dome shaped hoppers, 2 green closed hoppers, 1 blue closed hopper, 1 yellow closed hopper, 1 white closed dome shape hopper, 2 green closed hoppers, 1 blue closed hopper, 1 yellow closed hopper, and finally, 1 blue box car, Soo theirs the full consist for you just in case your too lazy to look it up on Wikipedia
Class 66 has an AAR MU system which is why you're able to control the AC4400CW SD70ACE. In the UK you might as well try Classes 40 45 20 37 31 and 33 locos Blue Star MU system if it works in game
Unstoppable the movie is based on a true story that happen not far from where I live in Pennsylvania. I have a suggestion for a video, why not do a runaway train at full speed and see how far it gets before it derails with a USA Locomotive.
you should look up the movie atomic train it's an older movie but its a good one. also, a downside to this is that TSW4 sinks the controls. as though locos would push the class 66 like it was nothing.
The train triple 7 and 767 is a ac4400cw class locomotive The main character train or 1206 is a SD40-2 locomotive Triple 7 is pulling molten phenol it toxic 1206 connect to the back of triple 7 it slow it down only the break failed so the second main character jump in a truck and jump 777 Noch 8 is full power (If I am wrong plz correct me thank you)
Do the opposite class 66 is the runaway train with 40 highly flammable cars and the 777 and 747 is trying to stop it would be very cool please, it's my birthday. 🥺🥺
It depends what UN number is on them and what pictograms/placard types it has. For example, gasoline would be "1203" with a "flammable" placard. Hydrochloric acid would be "1789" with a "corrosive" placard. There are others, such as radioactive (yellow and white), non-flammable gases (green), explosives (orange and black) and flammable solids (red and white stripes).
As a retired Freightliner 66 driver with over 20 years experience on the WCML, I have to say, your simulation needs a lot of work!!!🤣 FL, 66s don’t have those couplings! The loco, even using its rheostatic brake, wouldn’t have stood a snow balls chance in Hell of stopping that thing. The straight air brake even on a light loco is particularly useless!!, Looked very pretty though!
I still remember the Triple 7 "disaster" The area I lived in at the time in Ohio was one of the towns the train passed through sadly I didn't actually get to see it as I was in school at the time but as soon as I got home my father told me what was going on and we sat in the living room and watched the event unfold on TV my uncle was one of the state troopers that was deployed to try and shoot the emergency stop switch like they did in the movie the directors and movie company actually interviewed him cause they wanted the movie to be as factual as possible pretty sure there's a directors cut of the movie that contains that interview
dovetail has released 3 games in 3 years. every year they release another game, cant wait for train sim world 5 in september, prob gonna cost 100 dollars, since TSW 4 costed like 60.
FYI, tanker cars in the movie carried tetrophenol I think , it's like gasoline but more explosive. And the 777 movie train only had 8 tankers, the rest was normal freait bx cars! Any enjoy!
Those are called “Tank cars” they haul many things, including ethanol, gasoline/petrol, and many more things that could possibly be flammable. as in the movie they were carrying molten phenol Edit: And if you think 777 is big, pick the “ET44AC” also known as the “Tier 4 GEVO”
you should try to recreate the scene in the movie where they put the the 2 SD40-2s in front of 777 trying to slow it down from the front shot for shot on sand patch grade.
Train driver did not slip off. He actually jumped off to change the track in the crossing but he got too happy that he did it and then the train passed by. He tried to climb back on, but the train was going to fast.
It’s a 777 and unstoppable is a banger who agrees I actually saw the thing going around beacus I was going to my dads work some reason my dads work was where they was recording it so I got a fast pass I watch it early 😂😂😂😂
Well, I should say the ones that I see in game all the time are 1267. I assume they're the same here as i couldn't get a good look at the placard in this video.
As already mentioned in the comments this might not have worked in the real scenario cause after all they tried using the same model but a single engine to stop 777 and 767 and failed and the engineer tragically lost his life in real life at that speed they would've been thrown out of their seats into the control box when the trains collided
Why did you count them? On TSW2 at the pause screen, it tells exactly how many cars/engines it is. On TSW3 and latter there should be the same info (may or may not be the pause screen.) [EDIT] As suspected it the info is there, I saw it at 9:48 for the engine that you want to stop the other train with.

The fact that the class 66 managed to stop 2 hodge American diesels with 40 loaded trucks is stunning
What fucking trucks? Those are cars.
@@HMSHOOD1920he's British, what else would you expect?
and its just a game it doesnt fully simulate what would actually happen
when coupled he did the train brake which means the whole train braked
I really enjoyed this, that was fun to watch! Well done mate!

in the movie the blue train idk the number actualy stop the triple 7 and one of the enginier stop the triple 7
Nice to see that the Class 66 engine didn't derail like 7375 and 7346 did in the movie when THEY got in front of 777 and attempted to slow it down.
Just from the looks of the video, the graphics are amazing. Getting out and walking around lie that too is so cool. Gotta get this
Am i the only one who wants to see it fail?
your not the only one
Definitely not
yeah
The screen just fades to black if it fails and derails
No 😂

I havent whatched your videos for an whole december and im finerly whatching them😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
i love the fact that you are consistent now
777 is a AC4400CW
Its crazy how 2 Sd40-2's cant stop triple 7 from the front but a single class 66 (basically a ginetically modified sd40-2 for the brits) can
I was one of the first people to watch the first run away train thing😊
Another unstoppable video amazing ❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😎😎😎😎😎🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
you should do some more runaway videos.
I wonder if it'd be possible to do a 1206, couple up to the back and apply the brakes
Dude that monster getting closer.
3:37 molten phenol is what 777 hauls in the movie, used in glue manufacturing and is highly flammable
The chemical is molten pehnol
Amazing I can not believe that a Britain 66 train can stop a runway train
It couldn’t!😉
good video lazer i love this video from the 777 instopable train i love it
Honestly i think you should try derail valley once, cos you can make this with better derail physics or something
Yeah, in DV, you can really blow up your train if you fxxked up. 😛 😀
yeah only with slight tomfoolery can you seriously bin it@@pqhkr2002

The real one was a mixed consist, alsl that 66 is not british, its an SD40-2 in a sausagecasing for bitish loadinggauge
Class 66 is more like a version of SD70 or SD60 because of 710 engine. SD40-2 is Class 59.

DO MORE UNSTOPIBLE TRAINS
If they say that Thomas the tank engine is a hero as he is, maybe you should let an E2 tank engine stop 777.
Now that would be a real challenge.
The train triple 7 and 767 is a ac4400cw class locomotive
The main character train or 1206 is a SD40-2 locomotive
Triple 7 is pulling molten phenol it toxic

I just realised I like made a essay
The contents of the cars (when the same as the movie) is Molten Phenol which is used in the production of glue!
The only thing, I think this wouldn’t work in real life since the 66 doesn’t have a platform to stand on to hook up the train.
ngl this train had the balls to pull 40 wow
I LOVE YOU LAZERJET❤❤❤
Do the opposite class 66 is the runaway train with 40 highly flammable cars and the 777 and 747 is trying to stop it would be very cool please, it's my birthday. 🥺🥺
Can you do this again with 611 steam locomotive.
The 2nd loco should face backwards,
And you got the wrong wagons, only 8 were fenol tankers, the rest were grains, pipes, and others...
You should try it with BIG BOY that would do the job😂
I watched unstoppable yesterday, try doing it how they did it in the film: in reverse
I want more unstoppable runaway train videos
Divide your kph speed by 10 and then times it by 6 and you get mph😊
if you do this again i have a suggestion next time you should play acdc rock and roll train song is about a runaway train
*Thomas runaway theme intensifies*
The fact that 777 in the movie carried “Molten Phenol”. And in the movie there were 8 car of it. He is carrying 40 of them😰
How about make a video about Runaway train from the 1985 Runaway train please
