Honestly, an amazing episode because the brother returns later when Nolan and Harper go back in to save the captured warden, the lady with the radio, and the brother returns to give them a safe passage out for heoping his little brother get out.
After that, they get the kids out. But they decided to go back in to get the warden out who was held hostage by inmates. They were lured into a trap and probably about to be killed. Suddenly the crowd parted like the sea and the big brother from earlier came through. He saw that they successfully got his little brother out. He loudly announced that these people we're to be released. And seeing as hes the boss, they were let go in spite of reluctance
The older brother was a high ranking member of one of the prison gangs. Nolan, Harper, and the warden had been cornered by a different gang and the older brother arrives with his gang. The first gang does not want to let them leave, but the brother makes it clear that they'd have to fight his gang to stop them from escaping.

doing a scared straight tactic since the little brother worships big brother for being a criminal in jail, big brother discourages him from that lifestyle, then riot breaks out, now they gotta escape.
Those kids are juvenile kids so they were brilliant to this prison and 3 inmates had to scare them One of the kids(hector), his brother Thomas is incarcerated in this prison and he was allowed to see his brother to set him straight
Naw taking the older brother probably would have been a bad idea. Not saying he’d betray them but that if he were to be seen helping cops even if it’s because of his little brother there probably would have been a decent amount of the prisoners who would have hate for him which could lead to a lot of bad stuff down the line.
Older brother taught younger brother best lesson he needed to learn.

They weren't in a trap tho, oscar legit helped, everything was by plan, the brother just helped them get out just as safely as they got back in
This is probably one of my favorite episodes of the show. Loved the intensity and the close quarters of it all
