I've had Red Tale Barracudas my whole life and I've neva seen them really RIP at any fish of their own size...
It would probably be horrible too with those teeth I bet lol

I always always intimidated to get one because of the size of the armatus, but I’m glad I was able to find one of the smaller species! And thank you for noticing 😅 I’m back!

I’ve always thought that about the Payara but recently started liking them. Definitely a super cool fish! The Hemiarius Stormii is incredible. Quickly becoming one of my favorite fish in the fish room.

I hear you! I got two of the 3 Red Tail Barracuda already pellet trained. The one that’s not is pretty thin but will nibble here and there. Unfortunately, it just takes time. How long have you had your Payara for?

I had 2 in a 125 and they fight and you can hear their teeth click I fed mine tilapia and shrimp because one caught a nasty parisite from feeders and a cyst grew on the side of one and you can see it move until one day it burst and it died but besides that cool fish to have
