I'm just so happy Southgate is gone. The football was mind-numbingly boring. There was no tactics and no structure, His ineptitude has been shown multiple times. Against Croatia, we lost because of his inept ingame management after having a easy run to the semi final. Against Italy, we lost because of his incompetence. We go 1-0 up after two minutes and instead of going for the game and going to win we sit back and let Italy run all over us and make the most average Italian team look like world beaters. Against France we played better but that means nothing because we still lost. And against Spain we lose because we sat back and invited pressure. The man never learns.
The most average Italian team that went 38 games unbeaten, haven't lost for 3 years, won every single game and beat Belgium and Spain...that average team yeah?
@@vincenzoriccio5036 It was the same Italy team who couldnt even qualify for the world cup either side of the euros. They didnt qualify for 2018 World Cup in russia and they didnt qualify for the 2022 World Cup in qatar.

Lee Carsley has good talent ID and profiles players well. That's all the England manager needs. No fancy tactics. With the wealth of talent that England have, just player profiling will do the trick.
