I wager Birth rates should be going up this year. When there’s nothing much else to do at home.
Procreation is the best form of Recreation in these restrictive times.

Too extreme of ANYTHING is a bad thing. Be they “good or bad” in the way we perceive them.

The host are all single ladies and driven for career. Somehow the conversation felt like it comes off from a selfish pov why not having kids. And comparing education with a bag? Hello? I'm 25yo this year and I still love having a kid but yes the cost is crazy hence everyone is putting this at the back first. But I think caz as society progress, everyone knows more. Hence with more knowledge, somehow everyone become more selfish to put themselves first. So having kids was a joyous event became a burden, like is gonna pull me down from my career progression.

Hi Edna, thank you for sharing your POV! Our main goal for Hush is to open up conversations about such delicate matters and explore the topic from all angles - the good, bad and the ugly. Some of these opinions are thoughts that people may not feel comfortable voicing out loud and we believe that acknowledging such opinions are key to how we can provide an alternative perspective to reflect on. The comparison with the bag was made in reference to one of our earlier episodes where we talked about success and luxury goods. We are by no means downplaying the importance of education with a bag.
While we understand that this is a complex and delicate issue to explore, the Hush girls are simply presenting the topic in a casual and light-hearted manner. Towards the end of the video, you would realise that the overarching message is to empower young women - that despite our fears, we can still find the balance if we approach it the right way. We hope you've taken away a thing or two from the podcast nonetheless!

I may be a conservative on this but the main essence of having a partner is to start a family, be it you are married or living together ("live in" set up). I mean, do really look for a partner just to have a company of someone for the rest of your life?
