It's so motivating seeing other people using resizeable. On top of the fact that I have bad eyes, it being tiny just looks like ass. But I've heard people say that fixed is better since you have less distance to look/your mouse doesn't have to move as far. While I'm sure it's true, it's just nice to see other people doing it this way now that I'm looking for it
I had the boss down to under half HP my 2nd try, but I got really lucky with finding everything that time. My biggest issue is finding supplies & doing everything in time. I'm definitely going to try skipping armor and getting just pots, food, and 2 weapons. Thanks for the nice and simple guide! 👊
@eliminence No sir, I haven't. I just tried your method and got t1 armor, but I could only get the boss to maybe 40% still. It's definitely easier for me though! I think I just need to get the boss mechanics down now. I will check out the guide you recommended also. Thanks boss! 👍

I definitely appreciate the thorough walkthrough + commentary, though I feel like it would have better been complimented by a pre-walkthrough part where you discuss key points and objectives throughout the run of all the rooms. I'm taking in what you're saying, but without knowing all the different objectives like "gather X of Y to make A amount of potions, gather X weapon seeds to make A weapon and B weapon, we will be making X armour/weapons at Y tier" etc etc I think i'll watch someone else's pre-walkthrough guide and then return to your actual walkthrough as it is actually super solid, and I love that it's in real time rather than editted/skipping forward, helps to actually gauge how long everything takes

that last piece of advice was pretty useful, just grab inv of fish and a weapon and go practice prayer switching and tile management but damn when i finished sote i didnt think this would be this intense of an activity my lord...
Just curious, how did you get your OSRS game scaled way up while preserving the scale of runelite/the OS? I can scale my windows up to like 150% to make everything bigger without it changing my resolution, or I can play in stretched fixed mode, but haven't figured out how to scale up the game itself independent of the rest of Windows. Would love to know how you do it. Thanks!
Im trying to do what you suggested at the end with only going in there with food and a weapon to practice prayer and gear switching but that part of OSRS combat has always been difficult for me to grasp. Idk what it is but Im just not used to mouse clicking so much, hell I haven't event gotten the fire cape cause of Jad Phase (2 hours per attempt is too much for me to try for a 4th time for now). Do you happen to know of a different method for me to practice prayer and gear switching?
Gotcha, I wasn't very great at PVM either, it was really rough for me to learn the gauntlet, so I understand where you're coming from. What I would do if I were you to start, I would have my video or some other gauntlet boss video playing and have your character stand inside of a bank or next to a prayer altar, and listen to/watch the boss fight and switch your prayers, and equip a bow/staff accordingly along with the video so you become comfortable with the sounds the boss makes. A lot of it is knowing what sounds to listen for. Once you start feeling more comfortable with that, then do the last thing that I suggested in the video and see how that goes. Keep me updated with your progress, hopefully this helps.
Gonna take your advice and just get pots and food and run around to get the mechanics of surviving down. My brain just shuts down when I'm running from tornadoes + avoiding floor tiles while also trying to switch my prayers and eat up and damage I've taken. God forbid I try squeezing in an attack. I'm 0/11 on attempts and got to sub 100 hp one time so I know once I start surviving I'll be all good. Ty for the video!
@@AACruz-vu6ky I'd focus on learning the prayer switches first, that's the most important part. Grab a full inventory of fish and make 1-3 potions and just practice being in the boss room switching prayers, avoiding tiles and tornados.
