I was debating whether or not I should read this book. I got stuck with a lot of Lisa Jewell books and she has been my favorite author ever since! I am so glad that I picked up this book and read it. What I love about this book was the timing of the events that couldn't be any better! Also, the plot was well developed and kept you engaged! I hate some books when they keep dragging on and on with chapters and you forgot what the purpose of this chapter was all about. The chapters were short and well on point! I just felt that at the end was really twisted and some aspects of it shouldn't have been so dragged on! The cover of this book was highly exaggerated. I was expecting Millie more locked in her room and watching these people all the time to discover their secrets. Nothing of what you were expecting was related to the plot of this story. So that part I was a bit disappointed with the book. Otherwise this book was a great story! One of the best books I have read so far.
The best review I’ve seen thus far. Bravo! Plz keep going 💕 I just finished it (read it in one sitting) soooooo good. So so good. By the way, you look fab
I can't watch this full video because I haven't read this yet, so I'll mute it to let the video finish playing out. I just came to say I just finished The Coworker and I LOVED IT! I'll definitely read more Freida McFadden books. After I read The Housemaid, I'll come back to hear your take on it.
I understand and thank you so much! Guess what? I just finished “The Coworker” too! It was so good! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts more on it. I’ll be sharing a non-spoiler review with my wrap up in a week or so.
My sister liked this one but did feel there were others far better. I think “The Teacher” may have been one of them. I’m looking forward to reading the others. Thank you for subscribing! 🥰😄
The book was excellent until the last three chapters. I wish it had taken a different path. When Millie left and drank water was suspected to have been drugged like last time. Nina & Enzo come to the rescue, Enzo kills Andrew ~ Nina & milli have a great ending Enzo is off to jail
I'm glad you FINALLY read it 😅
😂 After I finish the book I’m reading I’m going to read “The Housemaid’s Secret Next”!
Just finished and great review! New subscriber. 👍🏾 P.S. Your hair is GORGEOUS! 😊
Thank you for watching and subscribing! Thank you for the compliments! Happy Friday, and I’m looking forward to more bookish discussions.
Great review. This helped a lot thank you I started to read this so. far so good
Thank you and glad it was helpful! Enjoy the book!

This is an excellent review! I agree so much with what you said…even about the cover.
Yep, awesome book with just a few quirks.
@@dbooknerd Yes 👍 I am on vacation and actually reading right now “ Never Lie” by Freida McFadden.
Enjoy your vacation! Nice! 🌴☀️
Yes! I am also on the Freida McFadden bandwagon! I loved this book!
Love it! I’m reading “The Housemaid’s Secret” right now and it’s wild!
Loved this review 📚💕 I can only imagine what Andrew’s mom did to Cecelia- I didn’t see his mom’s dark past with Andrew coming to light!
Track you and I know, right?!

@@dbooknerd Oh good, I'll look out for that video and make my comments on there.
18:49 Good review. However, I did not like the book in the end. Too many unrealistic plot twists!
I know there are others who felt the same way.
This was my first McFadden book too, I thought it was just mid. Her other book the Teacher was better IMO. Just subscribed to you and your sister lol

Thank you for subscribing! 🥰😄
Just finished this book last night 😮, I loved it so much
Yay! Wasn’t it awesome?!
This book is really good. I loved the end Mc Fadden is a great writer 10/10
@@ManifestingTammy, yes the end was wild! I agree, she’s a great writer of these thrillers.

Nina & milli have a great ending Enzo is off to jail
Oh wow! You just created an alternative ending!
