I also read the book, it's great that you enjoyed it but to say it's the best thriller of this generation is so odd. I found the writing to be very ordinary, great plot tho. Hoover annoys me with the story only written from the one prospective. I can think of many authors who outshine her. Now if you want brilliant writing, fantastic stories in both thriller and other categories try Nora Roberts! She is the QUEEN of the written word.

Verity is a book where all the characters are deeply flawed. no one is 100% innocent or does the right things 100% of the time.
