Can you kindly also explain 'chat settings' for example how can we send a file from there? I've watched some tutorials and then I tried but it was a disaster.
Hello Elif, thanks for your question. To enable the in-meeting file transfer for your own use: 1. Sign in to your account on the Zoom web portal at zoom.us 2. Click Settings. 3. Navigate to the File Transfer option on the Meeting tab and verify that the setting is enabled. If the setting is disabled, click the Status toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog displays, choose Turn On to verify the change. Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the Group or Account level, and you will need to contact your Zoom administrator. Hi. As host, let’s say all participants have been assigned to a breakout room. Is there a way to know which room a participant has been assigned without going thru each rooms? Thank you!
Hello Lea, thanks for your question. Yes, you can open a break-out room control panel to see where everyone is. Have a trial with a couple of other teachers to see what I mean. It's pretty straightforward.
As a teacher how can I see all 23 students on one screen? When I choose gallery I still dont see all of them..moreover when I share I only see half the amount..Help Love your personality and vedioes
Hey, thanks for you comment. To be able to see all participants at once even while you are sharing your screen you need to host a meeting on one device and then connect to the same meeting with a second device. Or use dual-monitors. Use you first device (monitor) to view all participants. Use the second device (monitor) to share you screen. How to enable Gallery View to view all participants on PC? Step 1: Open the Zoom desktop client on your PC or Mac and click on the ‘Settings’ icon in the top right corner. Step 2: In the Settings window, click on ‘Video’ in the left sidebar. Step 3: Now select the checkbox that says ‘Display up to 49 Participants per screen in Gallery View’ in the tab on your right. Note: If the option isn’t available for you, then check out the next section on this which explains what must be the reason behind this. Step 4: Close settings window. Now, start or join a meeting. Step 5: Click “Gallery View” in the top-right corner to see the gallery view of your participants, with up to 49 shown at a time. Step 6: Click the right arrow button to see more video feeds if you have more than 49 participants. If the option to show 49 participants is not available to you, then it means that your PC/Mac does not meet the minimum system requirements that are required for this feature. Ensure that you have the following minimum resources in your PC to support ‘Gallery view’ on Zoom: Intel i7 or equivalent CPU Dual-core processor for a single monitor setup Quad-core processor for a dual monitor setup Source: nerdschalk.com/how-to-see-everyone-on-zoom/
