I do the toilet door paper think too. I enjoy my own company at home but I don’t like being out alone, due to social anxiety. You are a breath of fresh air. And as for the heat, I think a lot of people forget how warm the northern hemisphere can get. I am in Australia and are summers are brutal.☀️🥵
I noticed you are usually alone in your vlogs and you’re always so positive about it. As someone with depression and anxiety it is hard for me to be alone and do whatever I want. Idk why but it’s always made me fearful. I hope one day to be able to do the things you do. 💗

I relate to this so much. I force myself to take trips alone to places that i love and it kinda helps me associate being alone with good things haha
I will be 60 in September and I've always been alone. I, too, suffer from depression and anxiety and I've thought that is why I enjoy being alone. I travel alone, I go to restaurants alone and was telling some friends last night on Facebook that I used to go to the movie theatre on Monday nights and was usually the ONLY person there and it was really cool to have the whole theatre to myself and they showed the whole movie just for me. That was really cool.
Going alone places means I can come and go as I please without having to wait on someone else to pick up every piece of merchandise in a store if I'm in a hurry or I don't have someone rushing me if they are in a hurry. :)
As I'm getting older and I'm disabled, I do have some fears sometimes when I'm alone because I can't run if I get in a bad situation, but overall, I've enjoyed my solitude for most of my life. HOWEVER, when I was first learning to be on my own, when I was 17, I was a little afraid, but over the years, I've done everything from get in the car and drive to Canada alone (I live in the South of the USA,) to just getting in the car and driving as far as I want, sleeping in the car at a rest stop and just whatever I want to do. I enjoy my own company.
A girl after my own heart! A day by myself def includes thrifting, going to the beach, eating treats & at least a documentary about the origins of man or ancient worlds or archeology. Even when I was your age...I look the same now...but prob double your age. Maybe that's what keeps me looking youthful- Enjoying life! Cheers!

That was so funny! And the way he was lying. I have very rarely been on a nude beach area since I live in an area in the USA where you'd get arrested for going nude (Alabama.) I used to live in Florida where there were nude beaches, but still very rare to see.
I'm glad you enjoyed your time on the beach. I love the ocean and the beach, but I tend to sunburn so easily. You're very light-complexioned too so I hope you didn't get sunburned, but the beach is so nice. I just love the smell of the ocean.

There is not a lot of prints here tho 😅 denmark is known for all black, grey and white fashion.
Wow! The "thrift" stores in Denmark look like boutiques. Watching people thrift elsewhere in the world is fascinating. In South Africa our thrift stores are generally tiny and don't have a great selection. You've got to really search a few at the right times to find good stuff. People tend to wear their clothes threadbare here and resellers often get in early and hike the prices of vintage and high end finds - all power to them though. Granted, I have many gems, but man would I go moggy in Europe or North America. My favourite stores here are also still closed. Want to go thrifting so badly! Great video, Elise! You are gorgeous and so sweet. Glad I found your channel.

I loved this video! I'm currently working over the weekend but enjoyed hearing you and watching your video while I edit :) I truly miss the ocean right now, but with the way people have been treating it since the lift of lockdown (I'm from the UK) I'm quite afraid to go. There's places which have become overcrowded for parking and even using the loo, and the amount of rubbish people have left is just horrible to see. Hopefully I can find somewhere less well known and listen to the waves in real life soon

I'm so envious of the amount of thrift shops you guys have in Denmark! I was totally fascinated when I visited. Here in Italy there are very few vintage stores and they mostly sell high-end fashion clothes which are pretty expensive, so it's impossible to buy there if you're a normal person. I really enjoyed this vlog! So soothing and lovely.

YM Fg, Denmark is I am lucky to be able to say, a very safe country. Denmark is listed as the 5th (last year 4th) most peaceful/safe country in the world on the "Global peace index" out of 251 countries and territories. That being said, it is always an empathic and wonderful trait to care for other peoples wellbeing and of course no matter where you are in the world, it is a good idea to be sensible and not place ones self in potentially dangerous situations👀 Greetings from Copenhagen❤️👍🏼

As for women travellers of all ages, whether alone or with another female friend, I think it is better to be cautious, not knowing when misfortune is going to strike. Kind of funny how you don't have a problem buying thrifted stuff for your kitchen, while having one with buying a thrifted couch and such. Well you can wash the former but still... 😁
I’m with you on public toilets. Perfected “ The Crouch” and I always use either a paper towel or my sleeve for the doors. From the 1980s when I moved to London and it was SO disgustingly dirty. You almost make me want to come to Denmark to go Thrifting! It looks beautiful, and I live in NZ.

I really LOVE the third dress you tried in the first thrift shop. The colours and cut along with the details are GORGEOUS !!! I'd definitely buy it. I'm so glad you did. The chair is so EXPENSIVE !!! The plates you got are really PRETTY. The fabric you got is so pretty too. You got a lot of great things. I'm the same as you with doors and such in any bathroom. I use a paper towel or my dress or top to open the door. No way you found the same chair twice Elise. That's weird and cool at the same time.
