      If this is actually a serious question, the answer is you walk away from the middle of the room. The boss only aggros if a player is right on top of where he spawns.

      Genuinely didn't seem important enough to mention in a section of the video that was already getting quite lengthy, especially since it'd just be a repeat of something I'd already said in the Menagerie section (move around the edges of the room instead of standing in the middle).
      But that's basically the method: don't be in the middle of the room when Menagerie dies.

    • @Benefits
      @Benefits 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@Kivrus That was fixed after the first reset. Thermaplugg will only aggro now if somebody either hits him or is too close to the middle of the room.

    You missed the overheat mechanic. It increases all dmg taken by the menagerie by 25% but they do aoe fire dmg. Melee need to be careful not to stand next to them when they’re low. Also, dps can bandage during this fight on cooldown. You’re healers will thank you

    • @devolore

      We didn't find the damage so high that it couldn't be healed through, especially if healers are regularly using the buttons to restore mana.

      It doesn't remove stacks, just prevents more from being applied, but lasts long enough that it should result in the debuff falling off

    Question about Electocutioner... is it not possible to be targeted with the magnetic pulse if you have the Chain lightning debuff? If it's possible to get both, it seems like this strat won't work because if a person with the CL debuff gets the magnetic pulse, they have to run away from the group and would then be furthest away, and be targeted by Chain lightning for their 2nd debuff (and death).

    • @padddy48

    Again, not enough talk given to how much MORE damage each boss does at 75%, 50%, & 25%. Every guide fucks this part

    • @devolore
      @devolore  7 месяцев назад +1

      Perhaps the reason no guides really mention the 75/50/25 thresholds is because they're not important to mention. There's no counter-play or special actions to take regarding those abilities (other than the squirrel's widget fortress, which I mention in the video). The specifics of how they work is largely unimportant.
      So, rather than waste everyone's time giving a bunch of unnecessary extra detail on a mechanic that largely just boils down to "people will take a lot of damage sometimes" I just... said that instead.

    • @wreckflair2618
      @wreckflair2618 7 месяцев назад

      @devolore except that while tanking them you're taking huge increased overheat damage that healers cannot handle. So then what? Just ignoring it isn't the answer.

    Great guide! One question: On Electrocutioner, you say you only use one tank? What do you do when tank gets the debuff and needs to run out? We had an off-tank swapping aggro at that point. Since I'm that rogue off-tank, I rather full dps :D So how do you do this without an offtank swapping aggro on tank debuff?

    • @loverofchitown
      @loverofchitown 7 месяцев назад +1

      Just have melee stand a bit further back once that happens. Also a good ideo to tank with your back against the wall to avoid knockback. No tank swaps are required during that fight.

    • @SQuirellsOnNIkieZ
      @SQuirellsOnNIkieZ 7 месяцев назад

      So when the tank gets the debuff and needs to run out, he just takes boss with him and melee backs off a bit, instead off swap and tank moves out of the way? @@loverofchitown

    • @devolore
      @devolore  7 месяцев назад +1

      The radius of Magnetic Pulse isn't so large that you need the tank to move. Melee just needs to not crowd the tank and you're fine. Plenty of room to still hit the boss while the tank has the debuff.
