BIG Mechanic I forgot for Menagerie: Don't dps the Dragon during Overheat and the Sheep has a reflect dmg!
Why? They take 25% more damage when they are Overheat no?

At 8:07 you mention all stacks increase the dmg of Supercooled Smash, which I couldn't find any proof of. I checked multiple logs and the ability just hits for around 1k with no regard to stacks (saw it hit 915 unmitigated with 11 raid stacks, and over 1100 unmitigated with 0 stacks)
as healing the raid yesterday - same thing.
he does truck damage with no debuffs up
also truck damage with 25+ up
we just fapped and ignored the debuffs, except for tank in p4 that was kiting (since with 20%+ less movement, tank gets alot of fire-stacks, so dispell or blessing needed)

I had so much fun with guild last night, the raid is harder than BFD it requires some coordination. SoD team did a great job.
Menagerie looks like the Wizard of Oz event mixed with Romeo and Juliette event from Kara.
Makes me wonder what they're gonna do to Kara in TBC Sod when they get there.
One thing I want to add is, that the buttons on last 2 bosses have a percentage value for the exchange.
-30% total health for +20% total mana.
the fire stacks on mekgineer thermaplug phase 1 last for 30 seconds, not 15. You will probably need an offtank to taunt swap so that your MT can reset the stacks, as they will not fall off during the kiting.
Also, the frost stacks don't increase raid damage. If one person reaches 11 stacks, they will get frozen, and if he does his supercooled smash with someone frozen, it wipes the raid. Free action potion will prevent stacks from accumulating, and they can be dispelled.

Electrocutioner 6k, just group the whole raid and have debuff move out, with 1 ranged hunter by the pillar next to elevator, since it targets furthest away u can just los it the whole fight and never even get hit once

im pausing at crowdpummler for 2 questions, do his gears throw pets off the platform and how can youu predict who hes targeting for the claw attack?
So that's why all my Stranglekelp sells so quickly in SoD. I thought people would want it for PvP but not this much, now I know why. In TBC my Shammy chugged free action potions like they were softmints, was the only way to pvp without getting destroyed by any class with stuns.

Can we confirm that the supercooled smash abillity on P2 mekgineer actually does more damage the more stacks? I had a wipefest and it seemed to do the least damage the later in the fight and we were not dispelling stacks. Anyone has any insight on this?
EDIT: I analyzed logs and I see no spikes in its damage at all, apart from partial resists due to my frost resistance totems. Even tho stacks did increase raid wide.

there's 4 differnt POV and 3 diferent raids used here to show everything clearly, but they were all either world's first (so had to be mages) or top 5

bfd was tutorial raid, lvl 25 its bound to get harder from that point. After a few clears Gnomer will also be super easy. Also its getting nerfed.
Im kinda fearful of tanking gnomer it looks a bit chaotic
you get the stacking debuff no matter what on thermaplugg. just tanked him. he does the debuff no matter the fire.

The difficulty is actually somewhat nice, but the raid is too damn long. 2-3 hours every 3 days is ridiculous. They need to eliminate trash and make it a 60-90 minute raid.
While I agree, once people get gear it will prob be an hour raid like bfd

You're not planning on ever raiding naxx then. 4 hours is normal for a casual guild with that raid.
Was there any tank damage? Did the tanks have to actually wear tank gear and use tanky abilities or just zugzug dps spec and gear?
Just did it last night-- tank damage was actually pretty rough especially on the menagerie and thermaplugg fights.

can anyone confirm if this raid needs two tanks? all the speed runs are 1 tank and this guide didn't mention any tank swapping or needing to place mobs apart while fighting?
If you arent an OP speed running guild then you def need more than one tank.
It actually does mention an OT at 7:40 in order to mitigate the stacking debuff.
Missed some important points on this one... should really edit the menagerie part and republish.

Some of your content is good... some, not quite so. There are several things you missed and some misinformation as well. First, you can leave the raid (literally) when snatched up. You can also use a movement skill to get back on the platform if you get knocked off. The sheep cannot be kited. It picks a raid member at random and moves towards him. You can taunt it but after a couple seconds it keeps moving towards a random member. There is a overheat buff/debuff (forgot the name) where all bosses take extra damage but deal more damage and this is what causes most wipes. There was very little research done here. Seems like you ran it once and just talk about some of the stuff you 'noticed'. This video should definitely be remade with proper raid information and strategy.
wdym sheep cannot be kited? if it targets a random member, then that member kites it? thats what kiting is
From what I understand, I thought the overheat buff made them take extra damage but also each (close to the dragon) doesn't AoE fire damage so you want to seperate the dragon that phase?

Video was good enough for me to get enough information to join a pug and complete the raid. I think it's a solid video. My only complaint is "Mechagear Thermaplugg" at 6:34 when his name is "Mekgineer" like "Engineer".

BFD was ridiculously easy so I can't see this being easier. Our guild wiped once on kelris all phase and it was week 1

And I went with a pug and we full cleared gnomer quickly.
And people want logs of previous kills when forming groups for this excuse of a raid with barely any mechanics. What a joke

Makes it a lot easier to transcribe/convert to other languages and recycle.
at animal boss you don't mention anything about reflect and not the protection zone. at thermaplugg you say nothing about getting a debuff afterclickng the button

This raid was lazily put together. Each boss was just in the same octagon layout with lazy mechanics. I had higher hopes for SoD and the content it would have this has been underwhelming.

While I agree with your comment, I was trying to find a nicer way to say it as this guy tries really hard and puts out very well made/edited guides. You weren't overly mean or anything, just don't want to discredit him, because agreed his cadence needs work, but such good content regardless
