For all the anatomy references I have used - Anatomy of Facial Expression by Uldis Zarins ( even though I don't have any connection with the author, the book is really great and worth checking out) - anatomy4sculptors.com/
- I have also used Gray's Anatomy plates from Wikimedia Commons.

Thanks Gurgen for your positive feedback, glad you like it. Have you sculpted along ? How did you go ?
Thank you so much for this tutorial and the other ones, too! I'm still new and learning, but I feel so much more confident creating these facial parts after watching how you do it!
I hope you'll create a video tutorial on the eye someday!
Thank you Balodon for your comment, it is very encouraging to hear It was helpful for you. Have you tried doing eyes yet ? I would suggest looking into skull a lot closer when it comes to the eyes (the structure that is underneath the skin/fat).
@@SergeWorks I have not started on the eyes yet, but that's my next part to work on after going through your mouth/lips tutorial. :) I think I will have to check out the other tutorials on FlippedNormals (which is where I discovered your tutorials!) for the eyes, along with finding my own good reference to work with.
@@balodon3396 hehe sounds great good to know about how you found my channel. Good luck with the eyes. The eyes tut will happen but It might be some time untill I get back into it (busy times). Maybe also look up some traditional sculpting tuts to help with the eyes.
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorials, I have been practicing with your wonderful tutorials. hopefully more videos near future. thanks again! :-)
Awesome Sandy Choi, great to hear you are finding these helpful, thanks for your feedback and stopping by. Are you practicing invividual facial features sculpts or whole head sculpts ?
@@SergeWorks Right now my plan is practicing whole head sculpts as well. I am also searching for a realistic face tutorial online course . .
@@kay-bc8ss good stuff man. Hopefully you find something good.
thank you so much. please upload more videos
Thank you 👍.
Excellent video, every time I find myself thinking "What piece is he putting in now", an anatomical reference fades in as if by magic so that I can totally follow along exactly what you're thinking and where you're going with the sculpt. Thank you for putting the extra effort in editing to show that to us.
Great stuff SharkNadeau, I was just reading your mind :) haha - I really appreciate your positive feedback, glad you liked the video and found it helpful.
@@SergeWorks I did! I checked out your ArtStation and channel but you have very little content out. Have you decided it's too much to keep up with? You are clearly talented.
@@grenninexile thanks very much again, for your kind words. Tutorials is something I will continue doing in one shape or another and the speedsculpts was something I could contribute easier than full blown tutorials for the time being as schedule is very busy. Thanks again.
Thanks for the tutorials. These are great tutorials and can't wait for head sculpt Tutorial and face too.
Please create some videos on HEAD and FACE sculpt. Please!!
Thanks Abhi Verma, great that you found it helpful and thanks for suggestions let us see what 2020 brings 😊.
nice and detailed video...i just want it to be more faster u r speaking a bit slow....maybe u can increase the speed in premier pro...cover everything as quick as possible bcos people get bored after sometime....u r doing good job ...keep it up
Thanks you very much
Thank you Mahmoud Zaefi, for your appreciation.
You made it look easy :D
Thanks Maher Aldemerdash for your comment, was it as easy to follow :) ?
This is awesome! Thanks for this tutorials, cant wait for the next one. You doing Gods job ;) Wish you talk more on how philtrum connects to the nose and wing of the nose goes in to the nostril, I have problem with this part, seems to never get it right.
Thanks very much, you are too kind and no I am doing this with God's help 😉. Thanks for the feedback, it is great to hear it. Maybe in my future tutorial when I do the whole face I will try and remember to go more in detail about philtrum connecting to the nose. Could you please clarify what you mean by "wing of the nose goes in to the nostril" ?
I think i mean whole bottom of the nose, how it connects with the lips, how the nostril works
Thanks spolem, will keep it in mind.
good video your nose is also good reference
Haha 😂 thanks, I guess.
thank you
My pleasure, thanks for stopping by :).
second model I made following your tutorial. Pretty good. I do not use tweeter so I can not show you my result.
Hey Oswaldo that is great, maybe post a temp link but no preasure if you don't want to show it. Thanks.
Hi love the tutorial is easy to follow, can you make tutorial to how make eyes? And maybe a full body?
Hi raven knight, thanks very much for positive feedback, glad you loved the tutorial. The eyes are the requested topic and they will see the light of day but no eta :) unfortunatelly. Full body mmm let us concentrate on the eyes first :). Thanks again.
Thank pro.
Thank you Art for Kids, too kind.
Kinda freaked out that I noticed it was Henry Cavill's nose before seeing the reference lol . Great work
Hehe nice one, thank you and glad you liked it. Yeah the guy has very distinctive features I thought :).
Blender Guru Andrew Price sends his regards.
Hehe thanks Cihan Fatihi, yeh I have seen him sculpting a nose going through this tutorial on Twitter :). Good stuff.
fantastic, would love to see a tutorial on the eye. thanks!
Hey thank you Michael Ryan, I am happy you enjoyed it. Yup the eye tutorial is something that is in the slow cooker but in works haha. Not making any time promises :).
Great video :)
Thanks for your comment Santiago Pinilla Ruiz, glad you liked it :).
@@SergeWorks you have to continue upload videos, this videos are so helpfull ;)
@@santiagopinillaruiz2923 hehe thanks again :) and good encouraging words.
THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
My pleasure 😊
really nice man :)
Thanks Mlan Mubasher, glad you enjoyed it :). What tutorial was your favorite (nose, I take it) ?
i am purely in trusted in anatomy information which you gave in this video about nose like how the anatomy goes with sculpting process really like it, it will be more helpful if you gave us more of the info about anatomy and sculpt on the bases of that by the way really nice approach and really love your work Keep it up ....... Peace :)
Ahoy@@mubasheramer9950 , thanks a lot for your kind words, very kind of you. Wanted to follow up on when you say "more info about anatomy and basics". Do you mean to say more about fundamentals like proportions etc. and maybe something to do with basics of sculpting ? If you could please clarify it would be great. Thank you.
give more info like basic shapes that made up on the foundation of anatomy this is my point
Thanks @@mubasheramer9950 :).
how do you get your sculpts tp be this detailed? from the video i dont see you dynamesh at all.
Hey there, I had Sculpturis Pro activated on my sculpting brushes, so when I was smoothing or sculpting it was adding resolution where needed. I found it to be really good for small pieces but you can achieve the same result with dynamesh as well just increase the res in dynamesh settings.
@@SergeWorks OK Thank you!
2:18 how do you get your sculpture "engaged" so it auto decimates?
Hi Tahcko. Look at the top/middle, on the left hand side from the buttons Mrgb Rgb there is a Sculpturis Pro Mode icon/button (looking like a circle with a black wavy line going through the middle). It is a new addition I believe since Zbrush 2018 version.
@@SergeWorks Thank you, that also fixed the problem where trim curve didn't fill the holes when I cutted the edges.
My pleasure Tachko :).
AH-CHOO!
😉
can you teach us how to makes eyes?
One day...
@@SergeWorks 😁 I am a catastrophe the only thing I can do right is a nose and the mouth I'm making progress but my whole head sculpt looks like an alien or a mix of voldemort and donald trump 😅 I really need more tutorials haha
Have you looked into other tutorials on youtube ? Yeah the whole head is a task in itself. What I would recommend is studying a scull not necessary all intricate details about it but the proportions and shape. Do some simple quick sculpts of extremely simplified scull, once you have that you can put features on top of it. Not sure if you have seen some of my timelapse videos but you would see what I am talking about.
@@SergeWorks well I bought a tutorial that taught me basic tools and how to make a basic male head My result was the voldemort alien lol but now I watched another one and I made an eye idk if it what fruit of efforts or I just got lucky will try to reproduce it !! I turned off symmetry to experiment
Certainly the more you practice the better you get, there is no secret sauce :) as you know. My first ever head was absolutely terrifying 🤣. Proportions/forms/anatomy/ practice/intentional practice.
Can you tell me name of nose or shape of nose please????🙏🙏
Heya sorry not sure what you are after, if you are after something like (example roman, greek nose etc.) I didn't conform to any of that as I simply was following the reference of an actor.
Why did you never do how to sculpt eyes?
Hehe fulltime job and family commitments but I always wish to get back at some stage, hopefully one day :).
@@SergeWorks Oh ok, i hope your family is well. Thank you for the tutorials. Your's are the only ones I understand, so thank you!
Appreciate your kind words, thank you.
serge you are look like thomas shelby
Ahoy Hamza Asad, this is a first one for me 😃 haha

Да, надеюсь, что общая картина ясна и без знания языка :).
@@SergeWorks Вы знаете оба языка? Или просто перевели через переводчик,ролики клевые
