I got to see King Missile III live twice in Seattle, and even talked with John a bit during the opening act, but I would kill to see this iteration of the band in person. This was my childhood soundtrack right here. Here's the setlist; let me know if I missed anything. 1:16 - My Heart Is A Flower 3:25 - Sensitive Artist 5:33 - Pigs Will Fly 9:19 - Love is... 13:22 - Open Up 17:02 - Pickaxe 19:30 - Jam/These People 23:40 - Video comes back on 26:50 - Tongue (snippet)
I remember this show! The video equipment blew a fuse, and the drummer went into a really long, fantastic, drum solo! And other tales not fit for the public…

Thank you!
What was it like talking to John?
@@Bowler6611 Super normal. He's just this guy, you know?
@@BradTheProducer I figured as much. And he seems "happy" while sing about some pretty weird and crazy stuff 😅
Good memories! Thanks for posting.
I saw them around 1993 at The Chanel in Boston. They were great live.
When covid is over I want to pay John to come down to my area for a concert I am the biggest King missile fan
God I wish I was there
Man, what a killer set. I saw a much later, less rocking version of King Missile which was still great but just not the same as this.

You are absolutely correct. I am that dick. lol
