Six episodes in a season is disappointing. Eight episodes in a season is disappointing. The audience prefers quality over quantity, but not at the expense of the story that draws in the audience in the first place.
For people saying why wait a year or why only 6 episodes Because it’s a limited series it’s not getting a season 2 it’s always been marketed as a limited series
Seriously? Did you even watch the Penguin? I love Dune and its adaptation by Villeneuve and usually I'm not into comic stuff. But Dune Prophecy is really mediocre compared to the Penguin.
Dune prophecy is not mediocre. Penguins show wasn't top notch, not every episode, but you really can't compare the two series. One's about the sisterhood and politics while the other is basically a mobster movie@@cykablyatifulscheisse
Moral of the story, having a religious jihad against machines and a fundamental ban on all advanced computing stifles technological advancement. I would say that tech in Dune: Prophecy is MORE advanced in most cases than in the time of Dune. The political and social systems of the Landsraad force the status quo and create an extremely stagnant version of humanity. This is a big theme in the book series later on, it is not an accident that nothing much changes in 10,000 years.

I love the show HOWEVER, ONLY 6 EPISODES and then a YEAR wait?! That could easily kill off any momentum this show has.
