    These videos have the absolute best Sunday morning chill vibes. Love grabbing a coffee throwing on a casual city builder or farming sim and just relaxing to some obscure Amiga or DOS gaming goodness. Keep up the good work my dude.

      Thank you! I don't intend on stopping any time soon. :) Though I do share my attention between four platforms at the moment: C64/Amiga/DOS/Early Windows; so the videos come out a bit erratically. Meaning, you can never tell, what's next. xD

    Thanks for quoting me for the Western Games game, which was really great :-)

    I remember very few of these. Interplay is the only one so far that I definitely had. Some of these seem to have better graphics that I remember the Amiga being capable of.

      Amiga was full of surprises. Given the right devs and time (so no rushing), it could produce excellent for the time visuals. :)

      @@OldAndNewVideoGames I meant to say Interphase. I watched the whole video now. I thought I knew a lot about Amiga games (had an A500 from 1987 - 1992), but I at best only played 3 or 4 of these. Thanks for making these videos

    55:12 Played this as one of my very first amiga games back in 1990. I was 11 and I will never forget the bizarre music, and the gameplay was just super weird. Couldnt figure out back then what was going on...

    as someone who loves Retro gaming i love the channel so much. I love Retroarch for all my libraries. Might have to ad the Amiga

    • @OldAndNewVideoGames
      @OldAndNewVideoGames  10 месяцев назад

      Oh, definitely do that! It had incredible games, and some of the multiplatform ones were best on Amiga. I have a video on how to easy emulate it, if you'd like to try it out outside of retroarch first.

    1:56:32 among homeless there are many veterans with PTSD and former convicts who have nowhere to go after their families shunned them. They also spend a lot of time fighting other beggars for resources so I can imagine they exercise their bicep on the regular.

    Boss rush games: not exactly implemented in the main game, but there were NES games that had boss rushes where you fought all the bosses you fought previously, but back to back. Nightmare on Elm Street did that, I think.

    • @OldAndNewVideoGames
      @OldAndNewVideoGames  10 месяцев назад

      The same Nightmare where you in the first stage would walk around the city looking for the right house?

    • @AntipaladinPedigri
      @AntipaladinPedigri 10 месяцев назад

      Yeah, that one.
      There were at least two others, but my memory is foggy. A TMNT game might have reused bosses like that. They might have appeared on a platform elevator going upwards. And I think there was also one where you played as a shrunken character. I remember obe of tge forat stages being a huge house interior with the stair railing.

    Suggestion: Break these long videos up into shorter videos. Also, make "good obscure ****** games" videos and "bad obscure ****** games"; that way, if someone is looking for good games worth checking out, then they have a whole video of options to look through. Otherwise if they just want to see $#!t for some reason, then they have a whole videos full of that too; no need to watch a nearly 3hr video to sort gems out of a heap of poo. Also, maybe not the same noise every time you begin a part of a new game.

    • @OldAndNewVideoGames

      These longer videos are released after the whole season of smaller ones is completed. So this second season you've watched is actually also split in 10 individual parts as they were coming out on my channel. :)
      I thought about splitting good and bad, and did even some little social study, with some videos having more of one or the other. And it turns out, these with more bad games, did much worse, so I don't think I'll do this one, I'm afraid. xD
