how many points per game were they scoring before that 5 game strech? Russ was simply better for their offensive production, his first game or two was themost points they had scored all season. Who did fields play vs who russ played? Fields can run but if there were any qb who should consider another position it would be him. He acknowledged that if he had done what he needed to do, they wouldn't have made the decision to bench him so maybe he's been working really hard to improve his passing but based on what happened on the field, Russ was better. He's no better than Anthony Richardson

The defense is not the Steelers problem , it’s a mix of poor qb play and a complete lack of offensive weapons . Russ is a bottom 10 QB that will only get worse . No reason to sign him
Tom Brady wouldn’t succeed with a bad O line and only George Pickens to pass to. Then 3 games vs top teams without Pickens. Then vanilla playcalling. Majority of Russell Wilson passes were thrown accurately. Right to receivers hands in stride!!

If there were franchise QBs out there....well there wouldnt be because one of the many thirsty teams would already have him and you'd still be looking in the trash for some treasure. Always the solution for more successful play is distributing the ball on offense.. That was proven during Wilson’s game v the Bengals and to be honest the playoff game. As an aside, I’m a big “ DangerRuss” fan who thinks it would be good if he could see himself to retiring. Possible going to a fourth team in three years just muddies his Stats and opportunities for election to the NFL HOF. Which I’m sure he wants.
I'm not a Pittsburgh Steelers fan but they have to get QB. They got to go up against Lamar Jackson, Patrick Maholmes, Josh Allen CJ Stroud, and two AFC teams got top 3 picks know they going to get QB Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward

Between 2011-2018 Mike tomlin won a playoff game in only 2 of 8 seasons with Ben Rorthlisberger in his prime. It wasnt Russ, it was Mike
