  • We're back with another Tunebook Tuesday and this tune was a little easier than the last one. It's kind of a classic tune really, though I honestly hadn't heard it before. It's again from "I'm A Yankee Doodle Dandy": Urban French-American Fiddling from the 1930's - 1950's". A great book by Frank Ferrell from his extensive work with Acadian fiddlers in particular in Boston. Folks like Tommy Doucet and Gerry Robichaud in particular.

    It's played in Cape-Breton a lot.
