True that. I got my nail tech license a couple of years ago, and nail forms are HARD. Acrylic nails take a long-ass time to practice and get looking nice. Jenna actually didn't do too bad for her very first time. Mine looked like that the first set I did in school lol.

@@bet_jev8711 it's all about practicing. everyone sucks at first, it's way harder than it looks. the hardest part is balancing the amount of liquid to powder, but the only way to get better is practice

Jenna, there are special nail file drills for acrylic nails. I can't even imagine how impossible it must have been to just use a regular file. They're not expensive, very easy to use, and usually come with different file types (various course-ness) and work at different speeds. :)
I was thinking this as well. Of COURSE its going to take FOREVER with a regular hand file, the nails were super thick. The only time I have seen a regular hand file work is when the tech is an expert and has a smooth application, to where it would only take a few passes of the file to make it smooth. Those nails needed an E-File, STAT!
Malika Nalapko I used to have acrylic/gel nails and when I decided that I could not longer tolerate them I used a normal file and it took three freaking hours to file them off XD

Rhiannon Caswell exactly! I've done my own acrylics ONCE and hated it. They came out okay at best but I hate what it does to my nails. So I still have the kit I bought along with the drill and omg I felt so bad for Jenna at the end as she was trying forever to get those things off 💔
Gillian Noss the one I got was pretty cheap :/ but I've used it once so who knows how long it would have lasted me. You probably got a better quality one'
