i’ve been playing volleyball for 8 years and have never heard anything on ball/court placement based on where you hit the ball (top right corner, middle of the ball, etc. as you were showing.) always learning new things!! thank you!
Been through the gym strengthening myself for our volleyball this upcoming school year.. been trying to learn as much as i possibly can on hitting the ball from the left side, right side, and behind the attack line in order for me to be a threat offensively on the court. Hope I could reach The regional stage and keep on climbing on to the world of volleyball :) thanks for all the lessons Coach Donny
@@lucasjohnson6 yeah, I got incredibly better compared to 5 years ago. I played as middle blocker and in my last your in college and currently playing nationals in our country.
@@darylldumo75 Congrats, so happy for you. I am currently in high school and playing up a couple grades so hopefully I can avoid injury and get up to a high level as well.
Just discovered your channel and I'm learning so much! Thank you! Can you do a video on reading hits and defensive positioning please? I play setter and always have trouble positioning for hits that go deep down the line
Thanks Coach. Benefits me a lot. I've been a failure playing opposite hitter and excel in outside hitter. But now thanks to you, a can do both🤣. Thank you so much!!!!
This is pretty helpful for me as a setter. We play 4-2 and sometimes someone else takes the 2nd ball so I could do an attack aswell. Thanks for the video!
You should have some much more subscribers with your video’s quality! Keep up the good work and thank you for your teaching coach,I am going full training mode this year I guess I’ll watch all your videos then haha
Thanks Coach, I play Middle Blocker/RightSide in high school it is sort of wired when the setter sets it backwards but now that i watched this video i think i will be better at hitting right side. Thanks
Hey, can u make a video on when to leave for a attrack when you are in the different position back row, right side , etc.... and how to not be early for the ball .
Could you make a video for left handed hitters playing on the right side please? You might say that it's the same for right handed left side hitters, but the attacking tempo for each side aren't the same...
Can u please help me?Me and my friends are entering a tournament, my friend(an opposite) is in the middle back and I am the Libero in the right back(on his right side). Are our positions correct?
Hi, when I am gonna attack, After hitting I fall in the net, do you know what is the problem? When I put power I touch the net i dont know why. Can you help me? I love your videos!! The are amazing!! >)
+Vitoria Rodrigues thats most likly because you jump forwards and not upwards. making a step parallel to the net, as last step before jumping, can remove that. he has videos that show spiking footwork maybe that helps you.
Outside hitters attacks from position 4(left side) with the duty of attacking, blocking and recieving as well, whereas opposites from position 2 (right side)only attacks (best attacker of the team) and blocks.
Hey, this is really helpful, thanks a lot :) And, do you know any tips to play better if you're really short? I'm 152cm, 16, and on the girls vb team, I play as oppossite spiker and I'd like to make my spiking better. Is there anything you know I could do? thanks in advance!
thankyou sir, my only problem is I can't consistently hit line. I always feel uncomfortable hahahah. but im always trying to hit line everytime i play.
I'm a right side hitter, but I hate it and I want to be a setter, but on my old team I was a setter, but I switched teams and now I'm a ride side hitter. And my dad keeps telling me bc I'm tall and (chunkier) that I'm a hitter, but he doesn't understand why I want to be a setter. I want to be one because I love setting, and I love the fact that people depend on me to hit, but. I'm 13 and I'm 5'8 and since I'm tall imma hitter🙄😭
new to the channel but this has already helped me improve. this has made me feel more confident when I play and it's made me and some of my teammates improve in multiple areas. love this channel, keep it up ! (:

I hit better from the right side as a right hander than I do on the outside. It feels much more natural.
Brandon T same here
Yeah, because it's easier to angle left.
Same and my team doesn’t have any lefties so I get to play oppo
Same, that’s why I play there

Can you show how to do the approach and how to hit a slide jump serve?
Ik this obviously isn’t the point of the video, but has a setter/RS hitter, I was in awe of the setter for the last few minutes of the video 😮

I found your channel today and it is very informative. Keep it up!
This is really good for volleyball fans
Thank you
Is there a video for playing right back positioning?
These videos are damn good. I've watched quite a few, they're brilliant.
I can hit sets properly with utility and the ball goes to where the opener/2 or sometimes where the setter is positioned.. Bounce ball

Thank you very much this videos really helps me a lot
What exercises should u do daily to improve your overall strength for volleyball other than the swing arm technique?
what is "efficient arm swing" to prevent shoulder pain?
Hey coach can you show how to hit from behind the 10 foot line as an opposite player
can you make a video about doing backrow attacks
Hey coach, I'm a right handed spiker and I take a left handed approach is that okay or should I relearn my approach?
this is helping me a lot !! Thank you
Could you please explain the areas of the court 1-6 and what positions usually play in each area please.
1 is back right
2 is front right (opposite)
3 is front middle
4 is front left (outside)
5 is back left
6 is back middle
Is it the same as the opposite hitter?
thanks so much for this video!!! I just started playing opposite so it was a big help!! 😀😀👌
+Elevate Yourself yah I definitely will 😀😀

Outside hitters attacks from position 4(left side) with the duty of attacking, blocking and recieving as well, whereas opposites from position 2 (right side)only attacks (best attacker of the team) and blocks.

It might just be me, but I think the links in the description are broken.
+ElevateYourselfNow They still say "This video does not exist." when I click on them (from the description). The links in the annotations work though.
+ElevateYourselfNow It doesn't work with me either
I hate being a right side
