For all Students who are beginners
Its a simple calculation and it's your task I already mentioned in video that's how you learn to develop excel based on your understanding
if you find any difficulties comment here , always ready to help but try by yourself first it's easy to develop once you understand your design steps
that should be the approach for learning otherwise you'll not able to develop your mind for manual calculations , Excel is just a tool to reduce your time
don't rely on programs it can be wrong as well always verify your calculation than use
    Happy to help
develop your own if you have any difficulties you can mail us we will resolve your issues

Nice work! However, you may use this formula 0.5*bdfck(1-(1-4.6Mu/fckbd2)^(0.5))/fy for calculating the required steel for singly reinforcement beam for flexure design. And further this may be checked with minimum required steel for flexure with .85*bd/fy formula.

Well explained, this video is one of its kind, when I studied RCC I also worked out the problems in the STAAD and found that it calculate fairly similar results.
Thank you for sharing this information and time spent n making this video.

    Nice Video Sir
    Please make videos on
Comparision of moments manually (load transfer from beam to slab to column to foundation) and software results

We need to provide torsion parameters for all concrete beam design? Or we need to provide torsion parameters for only beam having secondary beam?
How to verify this with torsion and without torsion in design

Which is correct clear cover for beam as per IS 456 25 or 38 mm?
Nominal cover was 25 mm ?
Why staad assume it as 30 mm minimum?

I would be glad if you could have a discussion with me on TENSION COLUMNS in staad pro analysis. Bentley responded against my querry and didn't provided a proper answer.... Reply me for a productive discussion...

Why it did come out a positive and negative moments at the ends of beam 121 and only negative at the midpoint? What causes this negative and positive moment values at its ends? Thanks in advance for the reply.

dear its an envelop so that's why it is showing worst values at all location based on envelop, whether its top bottom or mid.

@@CIVILNIRMAN Thanks again for the reply. Therefore, I could say that envelope in STAAD is choosing the critical combination of loads that will give severe effects?

    • @CIVILNIRMAN
      @CIVILNIRMAN  3 месяца назад

@@gnidnoeled786 It is nothing but a super imposition of the force diagrams of each load combination, which simplifies your understanding of the maximum values. Basically you get the entire forces of each combination in a single place.
