Fleet has 2 reps right now that are getting top 8s. This is opposed to the like 50 reps for Kragg, Clairen and Ranno. But yeah, taking clear outlier data totally makes sense. This isn't even mentioning the Cake works people just the same with his Forsburn.

Literally every single character is viable, it's just that the top player mains Fleet so we're going through the cycle where everybody thinks that character is broken for a short period of time.
Cake is really good, but hundreds of hours ahead of everyone else by having access to beta builds a whole year before release. Happy he's doing well, but we'll see how things go as people get more time in the game under their belts.
@@nebulisnoobis102 being able to cultivate how you play comes from that experience. Having more time to cultivat got him to be this dominant. Both ideas aren't mutually exclusive. When other pros get as much time under their belts, Cake probably won't be as dominant.

The thing is, even without the cracked build, do you really think that anybody else stood a chance? Of course the Melee players are going to succeed in the game that plays similar to Melee! Of course the Rivals 1 players are going to succeed in the sequel that brings back a lot of mechanics from their game! Even if they didn't have access to the cracked build, those players would still have a significant advantage over everyone else because they have knowledge and experience from other games that carry over into this one. There's no universe where New Platform Fighter Player McGee becomes a top player in this game, especially within the first month of its release.

Now with that said however, yes, Cakeassault is an amazing player. In no way I am saying that Fleet is carrying the players that chose her, its just very clear that she has very strong advantages. For anyone interested, Mew2King put out a video analysis of Leffen vs Fleet and it was both informative and eye opening. He even points out in the video that Fleet's UpAir shouldnt have killed when it did. Leff was at 120% sure, but compare that to Zetter foward-strong (without ignite) which does not kill, especially versus heavies and floaties. The balance is insane.

And the ones that do include those tiers usually have 1 character in C tier (guess who), 2 characters in B tier, 5 characters in A tier, and 2 characters in S tier. That is some of the most normal balancing I've seen in a game.
What, you think they like changed the values of some moves or something? If they actually did that, I don't think the players would be allowed to compete and this video wouldn't have been uploaded to the official channel. The players probably only got the dev exclusive skin and that's it, which is harmless because, y'know, it's just a skin. Also this is a copy provided by one of the devs, so that is probably how the skin. It's not cracked at all.
@@De_an The term "cracked" refers to the fact that even though Beta weekends were only for 3 days, one a month, people figured out that if they enabled offline mode on steam, they could keep the beta and play with other people offline. So, most people that were honest just waited for each beta weekend, while a large group of players (namely the people winning currently) were able to log hundreds of more hours labbing the game than everyone else.
