Your videos really help, I am in a runt at the moment but I should really be focusing as I am in year 12. My results so far are crapy and I don't know how to bounce back, I am struggling to get organized and motivated to do my study. It's getting worse and I can barely get out of bed to go to school, like sleeping through my alarm and just having a lack of energy to get through the day.
Gracie I'm not Jesse, but you should look at your life right now and evaluate it. Like do you have too much stress or get stressed when topic of school comes up, do you get bullied or get make fun of at school, not understanding school material can be a reasons why you're unmotivated. Sleep earlier. Maybe relax, stay calm and tackle each task one by one. Give yourself goals and rewards. Set daily, weekly, and monthly goals, and give the rewards accordingly (like eat a piece of candy, or going to a movie.) look at colleges that you are going to or plan to go to, and let that be your motivation. Don't procrastinate. Do homework assignments, projects, studying as soon as the teachers gives it to you. Plan study dates with a friend, search up games or RUclips videos regarding topics you've learnt at school. Put in effort, and push yourself to it. It's never to late to go to tutoring, peer tutoring, tutorings teachers plan, the top students goes to tutoring, it's nothing to be embarrassed about or ashamed about. Ask questions in class, and keep asking until you understand. Take part in class, raise your hands listen to your peers and teachers. But at the very end, take care of yourself. If your stress find ways to relief that, if you're being bullied tell someone, ask for help. Doing poorly is not the worst, doing poorly and not recognizing how poor you've done is 100x worst. You've found your problem, work on it. If you're failing, start working on it. Don't give yourself excuses. You are a student and your most important task is to learn and to pass. If you have the drive you'll do your work even when you're tired, if you want to, you can wake up when the alarm clock rings. You are in year 12, take action and responsibility for yourself. Your parents/ guardians won't be with you in college. They can't help to wake you up, and if you can't even do it now, how can you do it next year? If you set your heart to it, you will accomplish it. Ask questions, ask for advice. If you get a bad grade, go ask the teacher why and how you can do better next time. Don't aim for a c, because if you miss you will end up failing, aim for a B, and if you miss you'll hit c and still pass. Work on your worst grades first, but don't lag behind on your best. (Sorry for the long message, I hope it helps and that you pass)

Hi Jess! Thank you for this video! This is going to help me this summer because it is the season of college applications/tests. I always watch Ted Talks and I am amazed by it. One of my favorites was Perfection is the wrong direction.
Jess try concentrate on the part between your eyebrows when you meditate it really work it help in increasing focus and don't need to see that point just close your eyes and concentrate from within this was thought by my yoga teacher and he is amazing he has tips for every problem and sometimes a feel so happy that yoga was first practiced in our country
