    Konami's greedy PRICING is what the issue is. There's no reason boxes in the West have to cost $80-120 while boxes in the East cost $20-30. It's all cheap cardboard, but Komani absolutely drains the pockets of players and stores with sealed product pricing. If they cut box prices in half, they'd likely sell MORE than enough to make up for the difference.

    I'm glad that QCB is beating the 2024 Tin to submission. To be honest, the tins have been the worst thing they have ever made, it's not worth spending our money on them, and the cards they put in the tin and the total number of cards is B.A.D. Bonanza is the best in terms that ratio pull being good, old and new cards are in here in every rarity, and it has all we need for both meta and non-meta decks.

    I'd honestly prefer that over what konami gives. Too bad y'all are definitely too far for me.

    Budget Players dont mind this. They go on locals and are crybabys if a card is more than 2 dollars. "The Shop? Hey the shop is here right? i dont care about this store and how they make money, I WANT MY CARDS CHEAP AND NOW". Budget players are ignorant. They always claim "Its a game for kids, it should be cheap", but they are not intelligent enough to think a bit further. How does a shop make money? Not with reprints, they make everything worthless. They lose money on every reprint. Pick the Set Duelist nexus. A not so good set, but its hard to sell for more than 30 dollars right now, and shops bought it for around 50 to 60 dollar. But hey, no problem as long as we all can play the game in cheap! Man this pisses me off. I hate ignorant budget players.

      This is a very narrow point of view. While it is correct that stores will be hit financially by over printing chase cards so frequently, it is not the customers' (in this case the budget players) fault. Konami is to blame for this. Not the players who just want to play the game and don't care for the individual prosperity of stores. So don't be mad at players, but at Konami instead.

      @@drstrangelove77 yes, this is entirely konami's fault. If they adopted the OCG rarity spread (like they even sort of attempt in these rarity collections) then the entire game would be cheaper, and the whales would still be opening product to get the higher rarities to bling out their deck. It's literally a no brainer. So calling budget players "ignorant" for wanting the game to be affordable when housing costs are at an all time high, and the entire situation is by konami's design in the first place, is ironically, ignorant.
      If more people can afford the game >>> more players
      more players >>> more sales (without turning away the whales)
      Obviously it will be harder and harder to sell the older sets if they adopt this structure, but that was entirely their fault to begin with, and they're already not selling. That, and konami literally forces the vendors to carry a certain amount of every product when it releases as well. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

      Wait, if the game is for kids… why the money grab. Konami is finally doing what the 95% of players want, finally I can have a good deck and eat my cake too 🤷🏽‍♂️

    Invest into the banlist xD
    2 turn games are too fast for a card game
    ...ban all the broken cards, increase life points etc. to slow down games
    0% creativity to play the same broken enginge cards+handtraps in every top tier deck
    competetive yu gi oh is trash sadly....I only enjoy my casual rogue decks vs friends and collecting

    I didn't get your point. What does bonanza has to do with stores closing? You didn't give any argument lol

    • @cfcblue8
      @cfcblue8 День назад +1

      Stores need to move product quickly to maintain cash flow & cover their expenses (rent, utilities etc.). Bonanza cannibalized the tins so you get stores stuck with a bunch of them with no way of selling them or having to sell them at a loss.
