Hi Paul,Katie and Jasper,I loved this video. We are planning a trip out to the uluru next year. Thanks for sharing. You are so lovely to watch.I love that you are stepping outside the box and doing something wonderful and spending so much time with Jasper your amazing little man.Happy travels 💕
Another Great Episode, Thanks for giving me More Locations to look at Next year when i Visit. Looking Forward to Climbing part of Ayers Rock & The Olgas
WOW WOW WOW. Another great video guys. Thanks very much. It really brought me to tears just looking at all that beauty. One quick question. What video editing software do you use. Excellent job.
Morning Katie , Paul and my favorite lad Jasper the man ❤ Sir Mixwell 👍 👏 Thanks for an awesome channel and love the episodes 😀 Thanks for sharing your adventures with me and I appreciate it alot 🤝🤝 Greetings and safe travels from South Africa 🇿🇦
Nice to catch up with you again, glad your having such a lovely time. Thank you for all the important tips, & that healthy damper looks so yummy, Jasper. Good boy for helping Dad with the wood, bye for now Elaine from Brisbane.
Wonderful episode of your time spent in this most sacred of areas. I am still yet to experience the magic of Uluru. Loved the travel tips you shared and of course Jasperooni's cooking segment with the yummy looking damper! Thanks you amazing people! :)
Great video guys. Thank you. I’m about to do a solo camper trailer trip this time next year. So this was really helpful. Could you do a video on the star link installation and what you need. Thanks
Thank you 🙏 that’s super exciting and time will fly that’s for sure 👍 we have done a couple of reviews on the starlink - the main consideration is being able to power the set up with 240v from your camper or vehicle - this will require an inverter and power source. But every thing else is basically plug and play 👍 here is a link ruclips.net/video/j9faEzzQg_k/видео.html
Another great episode, we enjoyed every minute. We were at Uluru a few years ago and did the 10.5km base walk. It was easily the best experience we have had. Walking around allows you to spend time with the rock, to stand, stare and listen to the silence. It took us most of the day because we stopped at every opportunity to take it all in. We are a couple rapidly approaching our retirement years but we found the walk fairly easy, certainly easier than the Kings Canyon rim walk. Highly recommend you do the Uluru base walk next time you are there.
Hi from New Zealand. Another great show and you do it all from a caravan, amazing, I stated watching your show last Christmas while I was recovering from covid and now I have watched almost all of your shows. Those camp chairs do they make a table as well. You mentioned about the segway tours, we did the segway tour at the Currumbin wildlife sanctuary. The lifestyle pioneer's also have a zone caravan and love it on there yt show. Keep the positive trails going Thanks. Jono p
Hey Paul & Katie love the videos , doing a tremendous job on all your videos information, we love watching you, But Paul I think you need a new Akubra to match Katie and Jasper 👌
I loved watching the summer lightning storms in Uluru or Ayers Rock and it is like the Arizona monsoon season in opposite the summer in Australia. Be careful and be safe to watch it in Yulara by the Ayers Rock Resort and the campground ⛺️ and lightning is very dangerous especially not go swimming and not under the trees at the campsite 🏕️
Thanks for the chair review, I have been eyeing them off in your videos. But as someone with back issues that needs a very upright sitting position. I felt your review lacked some info on the different sitting positions.
No worries and thank you for your feedback - to help you, you can visit the www.stratusoutdoors.com.au website - also, there is a different model chair that is called ‘everyday model’ - no reclining option with this model and that may suit you better 👍💙 all the best with your decision 🇦🇺💙 AND you can still get a ‘FEELGOOD’ 15% discount on all their products - just use this code at checkout 🙏👍
Hi Paul, Katie and Jasper. Enjoyed the tips as usual. Do you have any knowledge on where to refill a gas bottle? We are west to Yulara shortly. TIA Cath
Hi Cath, you could phone the shell station in Yulara - I think they sell gas ‘swap and go’ but double check…. We carry an additional small gas bottle with us as a back up plan.generally we see ‘swap gas bottle’ service opposed to refill service available 😅👍🇦🇺💙 safe travels and enjoy every minute!
Please be safe to watch the lightning storms in Uluru -Kata Tjuta in the township of Yulara and it is fun and exciting to watch during summer months. Lightning can be very dangerous and be careful to watch it in Yulara.
Another great video. I was wondering how you mounted the Starlink on top of the van. Any tips? And what is the round thing that looks like a satellite near the Starlink? Any ideas please. Love you.
Thank you 🙏 we don’t mount the starlink we just place on the roof once we know we have a clear line of sight to the sky - the round thing is a basic tv antenna - hope this helps 💙🇦🇺🍻
Hi 👋 we have tried to find online with no luck…. However, we purchased the only 3 copies we could find during this roadtrip and are about to ‘giveaway’ all 3 copies in a competition starting this coming Sunday 18/06/23! Details will be in this weeks episode and good luck!! We are also releasing our e-book on this Uluṟu RoadTrip in a couple of weeks… 🤩💙👍
Hi Steve, the Norweld is an amazing canopy and one the best in the industry no questions, we had an opportunity to change out our canopy to the Mode and with our set up dropped approx 200kg on weight. Cheers
My gosh, how fast has Jasper grown and become more confident in the last 6mths! Jasper is right 1 spoon of milo for the cup and 1 straight in the mouth.😂 We look forward to seeing you at the Zone Muster again this year. Some goods tips for staying at Yulara, taken notes for our next visit.
It was nice ice to be in the audience and to see you all in person at the show this afternoon. A question. You seem to boil water on the induction cooktop in a saucepan. Are there no suitable induction cooktop kettles and is it faster than a regular electric kettle running off your inverter?
To be honest we haven’t properly looked for an induction kettle yet although I believe there is one available at BCF! The saucepan is easy to manage, a great size for two cups and easy to pour as well. And yes very quick!!
Sorry about that 😅😳😬 we felt safe the entire trip and would recommend travelling to the NT. We speak more about the safety concerns around Alice Springs when we get to Alice in the next couple of episodes 👍🍻🇦🇺💙
Always a lovely spot. I cant believe how quiet it was. When my grandaughter and I camped in the overflow at a similar time of year that overhead you showed was absolutely packed with cars! We did the full base walk, it was lovely. People on skegways and bikes kept passing us as we meandered around. Quite a lot of new stuff since we were there last, may have to do a new visit. Great episode. 🙂 cheers Cheryl

This is time of the year in the summer afternoons to get the heat thunderstorms in Uluru- Kata Tjuṯa and the lightning is beautiful to watch it safe at the Ayers Rock campground in the township of Yulara at the Ayers Rock Resort and be careful and be safe to watch lightning storms in the summer months of the monsoon season while the moisture flow coming from the Top End and into the Kimberly with the temperatures of above 95 to 115 degrees Fahrenheit with a lot of the flash floods can occur in the Red Centre and can be treacherous of driving on the roads and please check the weather conditions before hit the Stuart and into the Lasseter Highway and into the Great Central Road of NT into WA border into the Docker River. The extreme weather events can be very dangerous especially along the Docker River can flood during storms with a lot cloud to ground lightning strikes and also large hail can damage cars especially if they are golf ball sized hailstones and they don’t usually get hail that big and mostly get pea sized hailstones in the area of the heart of Australia. I loved watching lightning storms and it is very spectacular in the summer months of monsoon season starts from November to March, and it is a typical desert monsoon in the Australia’s Northern Territory in the Red Centre and watch it safe in Yulara by the Ayers Rock Resort at the Ayers Rock campground.
