These early shows are brilliant. Like a half hour of vaudeville. .peppered around the so called plot. nobody could steal gracias comedy timing charisma, or cuteness . One of a kind
George Burns started the long distance broadcasting over the Air coast to coast. The man was totally Business savvy. Gracie Allen was the genius talent!!:)
Originally telecast live from New York on November 9, 1950. West Coast viewers saw this via kinescope film (like this) on November 23, 1950, as coaxial cables enabling "coast-to-coast" live telecasts weren't completed as yet.
@6:00 -- WELL! That was a "subtle" way of working the sponsor into a sketch! LOL This STILL wasn't the one sketch that got them in a trouble with a sponsor, was it?
