Highways should be in every major cities of the country. This short highway needs to be completed and improved. I hope Douala also get a highway or beltway to improve circulation in the city. ❤ Urban planning in major Cameroon cities is lacking. Hopefully it will improve in future.

To the best of my knowledge there isn't any tolls on this highway. I also disagree with you concerning the waste of money since no road is a waste. This road was built essentially to decongest the city traffic and facilitate access to the airport. You should also remember that Yaoundé is a political capital and a highway was needed for presidential escorts. Before this highway, it was pretty hell when there's always presidential escorts and it was and it's still unbearable. But I agree that all major cities in Cameroon should be linked by a highway.
