I love how honest Hugh Grant is. Most actors are too worried about tanking their careers to give an honest answer. Pretty damn sure Hugh Grant doesn't give a fuck about tanking his career or what anyone thinks of him.
@@holobenthic I think he also didn't want to ruin career of any actresses not only his. Hugh has a crude sense of humor. He made fun about other people's appearance, saying Julia Robert's mouth was too big, etc. His taste of humor is like a high school jock's. That kind of humor is hardly sit well for women (that's why Chris Rock got slapped). But Hugh would never insults other people's body of work. Saying he didn't want to work with someone would make people questioning that person's capability.
@@rumblefish9 Yes, they stayed together for five years after, but it was strained, because he was caught cheating, getting a BJ, by a prostitute by the name "Divine Brown" he even laughed about it in court, because he was embarrassed that he got caught. He cheated on her, multiple times. That was the cause. Lol.
@@starynightugh6951 if it was strained, why still stay together for 5 years? Why draw it out? That reasoning would have made sense if they stayed together for a year, not 5 years. It doesn't make sense and esp considering they are still close now. Also, apart from the Divine Brown incident, Hurley said he was loyal to her the whole 13 years they were together. The relationship just fizzled out. It happens.
@@butterflymoon6368 Tom Cruise puts me off and the fact that he's so unaware of how crazy he is... is a turn off. Grant has looks, wits, charm and that sexy accent. I mean just look at Hugh in the movie Maurice. 🥰
He should have said "I'll plead the fifth", but given some details about why he hated working with that particular actress. Give the audience something! Come one Hugh!!!
It was Drew Barrymore by the way, he has said in other interviews that she was very hard to get on with and she used to piss him off by getting someone to pass him a small note instead of speaking to him
Its not Drew because she had him on her show and the stories Drew told suggest they have been friends. he was pissed at her for a time but it didn't last. They also talked about the time they bumped into each other at a restaurant and she started kissing him.
@@fineman7498Do you know it personally? LOL. I doubt it very much that 99% don't want to work with her. Proof would be nice. I bet there are actors and actresses who can't stand each other because their working methods are just different and also their personalities.

Yeah, I'm a guy so I can't say for sure but my guess would be its a combination of his "charm" or charisma as you say, his accent which I think just turns women on, and the fact that he's not an UGLY guy.

1:02 I almost expected him to say something along the lines of: "Well, the hooker thing probably had _SOMETHING_ to do with it..."
Same! I also thought the same thing when he asked Elizabeth the same question.😂💀
Divine Brown....Yep, that and a few other women on the side..... lol

Hugh is so fine!! He's my favourite actor and I don't think any other actor can rival his beauty when he was younger.
Tom Cruise? Hugh was hot though.

@@butterflymoon6368 Young Tom was cute. I still remember The Outsiders but I was too busy staring at Ralph Macchio in that movie.
She gave basically the same answer when she appeared. That he's still her best friend and she has nothing negative to say about him.
I'm surprised Hugh didn't answer that because he's not usually one to hold back
I mean.. He's honest, but also reasonably polite. I can believe he didn't want to answer that. He was lucky he hadn't pled the fifth yet
Totally respectful of Elizabeth Hurley.
His audience was terrible. He was hilarious.
"Hurry back from Washington and get on your knees" whoah Hugh

he certainly does
"Get on your knees" to Sarah Jessica Parker at the end was very classy

Khal Drogo
Kind of ruins the movie “Music and Lyrics” for me - I thought they were great together
If you're going to share who it was, atleast get the facts correct. That is not how Hugh said it. It was on Graham Norton if anyone's interested.

I love how Andy can get SJP on the phone whenever he wants cause they're besties - damn that he had to plead the fifth!! I bet it was Julia Roberts ;)
***** It was Julia Roberts most probably. She is impossible to work with and 99 percent of her costars do not want to work with her.
Gia A I have the feeling that Andie MacDowell is in that same list with Julia Roberts.
Or Renee Zelweger
not renee he actually said he thought she was lovely
it is most likely julianne moore or drew barrymore
