I buy the same trays from Bootstrap Farmer. Now available through MIgardener. I'm not an Epic gardener fan.
I also use the same boxes for storing my seeds. They are handy.
I'm going to try those onions you showed. I'm starting more plants than I should because it's been so nice. Today it's 73° here in SW Minnesota. If you can plan ahead, I have best luck with wetting my mix the night before I pot it up. For labels, I save 32 oz yogurt tubs. Cut into label shape. Strips with pointed ends. I use a China marker. Hubby calls it a grease pen. Its a wax pencil that you pull the string to sharpen. Its very frugal and print won't bleed like on the sticks. Their reusable also.

I use this soil too! But I use it for soil blocking - no fancy soil recipe. I've had great success too

😳😱Well I pulled the trigger....I ordered those seed trays....oh boy....that is a lot....I feel bad because Epic has a 15% off deal now and I HOPED I could use your 5% off code but it wouldn't let me...that's a bummer! Sorry about that, but I had to go for the 15% off. Hopefully you get some credit for me using your link? 🤷Well I can gimp by with most all of my cells...but dang those trays they go on....mine are so cracked and each year I buy a new set for inside the house for seed starting....outside the cracked ones actually work kinda sorta okay to let out excess water....until times that the whole tray buckles and all my cells fall out...that happens. Well anyway....thanks for the video, I feel like it got me to buy them and on sale with free shipping....

@@thehomesteadingrd Yeah, never heard of that....I was hoping something like Menards....Lowes doesn't carry it....$29 on Amazon for a 12 qt bag....a lot more than another omri brand I use
