I remember you saying once your channel was more about sharing your lives with family and friends than anything else, and of course your videos still do that, but increasingly we find ourselves putting your episodes at the top of our viewing list.
Wow the painted desert has been on our list for so long. Thanks so much for the images. We have just taken the first step in our plan to start traveling full time in around April 25 🤞 Can’t wait.
Yup, it had been on our bucket list for ages, and it did not disappoint!! We were so lucky being able to stay where we stayed, one of the perks of travelling through the desert in the middle of summer when no one else is around! So 17 month until you leave then, how exciting!!🤙
@@VetinaVan yep very exciting. Just got.a call today saying the van at top of our list had a spot open up and might be able to have one by December 2024.
Thanks Guys! Yup, it was super special to have the place to ourselves. We rocked up at the homestead and they were baffled as to why we were travelling in the middle of summer. They were fine for us just to camp at the main viewing area, pretty lucky! But very hot!

Thanks guys! It was a bit of a mission the night before we arrived as the station campgrounds was closed. The owner came out and thought we were crazy coming through in Feb. Said we could go camp at the lookout as long as we left no trace, pretty lucky in the end! Safe travels. 🍻🍻👍
Hey Susan, its well worth it, hope you get some banging sunsets as the colours are awesome. I use a DJI Mavic Air2S but i think the new Mini 3 Pro is probably on par with this now as the Air2S is getting pretty old. Enjoy the trip! 👍👍

Next time you are passing Coober Pedy, check out The Breakaways. It’s only about 10 kms off the highway and looks just as good as the Painted Desert.
