I have used a cane due to arthritis for a number of years, but my mobility was just getting worse. Going on vacation but just sitting in the car while my family saw the sites was so depressing. I started watching wheelchair reviews on YT, but wasn't impressed until I found your site. Bought my Electra 7 almost a year and a half ago, and it has been a game changer. I've been able to wander around museum and historic sites, go to the movies, attend off-site meetings and work events, and just get back out to living my life. Defititely a worthwhile investment!

FWIW, I am a customer of Quick N Mobile, whose eternally grateful to Paul in making the many videos of his products. Paul's experience, efforts and patience for a first timer like me, was invaluable. Buying 3 Electra 7 HD, have been extremely helpful for my mobility needs and that of my mother. The third is a spare, just in case. The Electra 7 HD wheelchairs have been faithfully working without fault. Your needs may vary. I do want to mention that wearing a bulky winter coat should be considered into width measurements when selecting your wheelchair from Quick N Mobile. God Bless you Paul, for being so wonderful to make so many valuable videos of your selections of wheelchairs. My life is safer, more mobile than ever before. Fifteen years without mobility, to have it back is freedom.

Love my Electra 7. I've had it several years now. I look at wheelchairs all the time to see what is new and I haven't seen anything I like better. I'd definitely by another one. You won't find a more sturdy or safer folding chair than the first 3 he showed. For new users, the best things I love about my chair:
The back wheels sit further behind you, rather than sitting up under you, so you can go up steeper grades with no worries of tipping over backwards. No need for anti-tipper wheels that always get stuck on things. I go up steep grades while hauling groceries on the back and have never come close to tipping over backwards.
That comes to the next thing. Because it has a straight bar across the top back, you can get black baby stroller Velcro hooks to haul 6-8 bags of groceries, or other things you can put in a bag. I've also used the footrest to haul my computer tower to the car.
The foot rest folds up out of the way and I don't need to use it in the house, so I can get my chair closer to cabinets and doors to open them.
If by accident, you run the side wheels off a 3 or 4 inch curb, the chair doesn't turn over sideways.
It rides in grass, gravel, and over a bumpy threshold with ease, and easy to carry with you.
Two old people can fold the chair and lift it on each side and that is without taking the batteries out. One person, no problem. Get 2 aluminum ramps. Keep the wheels locked, fold the chair, and the joystick still works. When it is folded up like a suitcase, you can use the joystick and the chair will pull itself up the ramp. No lifting, just guide the chair up while keeping it from falling over.
And, you can adjust the straps in the seat and back to fit your comfort. If you are a taller person or bigger person you sit in the chair. It doesn't make you look too big for this chair.
This chair works for you in many ways other won't. I love it. The only thing I wish it had is lights.

1st I'll say I love your videos. But there is one thing pretty much all videos don't address: height. Now, I believe you've done a video in which you mention you're 6.' That's great but I'm 6'4" and in an area where I can't easily try out lighter chairs. I'm looking for recommendations on lighter traveling chairs like something in this video or something that can be broken down. I appreciate you.

We are going on a cruise next year. Would like to take a lightweight folding wheelchair to use on the ship that we can pack in a case. It’s for my mother who isn’t that heavy (140 Lbs). It’s just to make getting around the ship easier for her. Would also like one that has remote control that I can use when she doesn’t want to use the joystick for whatever reason. Which brand/model would you recommend? Thank you!
