    8:53 Jody was, for the most part, right on the money here. Records, tapes and CDs (not yet a thing at the time of this int.) still exist, but more as fetishist collector items. Streaming is King. Terrible for the artist (shamelessly exploitative pay structure), terrible for the listener (what happens when a deal with a label goes bad and their entire catalog goes offline?). Go back to physical media, I say

      Aw, that Philip Glass lp just came out recently and that Beach Movie never materialized afaik😥

      @@VideowaveMusic Outsold CDs last year! TBH, I still buy both along with the occasional cassette. Not big on streaming, never was - I knew we were gonna get screwed!

    I'm going to listen to them after this. Atomic Cafe is on here too, already in my playlist.

      Thanks. Atomic Cafe was an indie hit movie at the time. I think it can be viewed for free online.
