Financial aid is money received from an outside source to help pay for a higher education. It can cover costs like tuition and fees, books and supplies, room and board, transportation, and some living expenses. Excellent video! Question: what if the schools the kid is applying to have varying costs, but the Common App goes to all of the schools? Like, one school we could afford, but another school we would require aid. Do you just answer YES to the aid question?

With the recent news of WVU eliminating academic programs and projecting to have a $75 million deficit by 2028, where or how do we find out the financial health of a college to make sure we avoid schools that are struggling financially.
