The original shanty is pretty much as long as you want it to be, so long as you can keep coming up with awful things to do with the drunken sailor. This was some of the best harmonies, dancing, and acting we’ve seen from Voiceplay all in one song. Another work of genius!

I subbed for your voice, but damn if you aren't one of my FAVE react channels right now! I am autistic and I tend to have BIG emotions when I really like or dislike something a great deal. But I'm often told to "calm down" or to stop overreacting. That's why I watch react channels, because it gives me a chance to parasocially react to thinks WITH someone else. You, unlike many others, react so viscerally... the faces you pull, the absolute emotion that you show when you react. Those are my reactions (especially to Geoff's voice, OMG). You are the only person who I can watch react to things and feel like you are feeling the same way I do, instead of being purely analytical.
Our drunken sailor is Bucky who at one time was a member before VoicePlay was named that. I watched a VP mini/short a couple of days ago that had him in it. It also was a hoot.
The thing about Drunken Sailor is that's it's open for each sailor who sings it to come up with their own verse for it so every band that sings it will have some different verses and it makes this fun to hear from different sources.
