CNN made a lot of money off of Covid. Do you remember the rolling chart on screen during cnn broadcasts with updated covid case and death counts that was aired for over 2 years? I bet they made up those numbers or got them from unreliable sources

I actually just watched the full interview on Tucker Carlsons page. It painted a much different picture of Cuomo for me, so to be fair I take some of my criticism of him back. When two people with differing opinions can sit down and discuss their differences it is always a good thing so kudos for him and Tucker to show us all that it can be done

It took me more than 25 Years to discover this thing. I am a very severe patient of pneumonia and inflammation. I'll give Fredo the benefit of the doubt here and look at it like people I know personally: it is exceptionally difficult for the average human being, who is more or less decent, to confront the fact that their actions and supported positions turned out to be wildly harmful. Most people will never confront their complicity, the same way people who were gung-ho about the Iraq War or for calling you satanic for reading Harry Potter would prefer to just sweep their former stances under the rug. It's out of embarrassment. And here, where the stakes were so much higher and so much more provably detrimental (look at the impact on children), the cognitive dissonance and repression, the mental techniques of avoidance, have that much more reason to be chugging along and saving a person from confronting themselves.

I liked this convo a lot and I’ve come around on Cuomo. He seems really stung by what happened to him at CNN but the opportunity is bigger for him if he carves his own lane and builds a fan base, and he’ll do that by being himself and honest like this.

I only wore masks around crowded people. These days, the only place I do it is in airplanes. Forget covid, I always get sick on airplanes trips, but with the mask, I noticed that’s gone. The times we survived were terrible but I’m adapting a tool for what’s best useful for me. Live and let live.

I think it is an excellent idea for two people that are on separate sides of any issue to have a civil conversation. That is something that the current powers that be do not allow. However, how sincere is Cuomo? Dos he really respect Tucker’s viewpoint or is he trying to find his way back in from the cold? The left has been so intolerant of other opinions since 2016 especially that I simply am suspicious of one of them all of a sudden actually lowering his superior smarts to the point that he is actually listening to one of the “deplorables”. That one statement by Hillary summed up her opinion and the opinion of the left. Such arrogance is astounding and it’s hard to believe when one of her acolytes has finally realized that he needs to do the unthinkable. I will wait and see.

It was a great interview and a leap forward, wether you like Cuomo or not he showed that talking is the way forward for both sides. It was a game changer for future interviews in my opinion and that’s all we want.
