The grandfather came from Thailand to help his daughter with her children. He came to help with the grandchildren and spent time with them! This is heartbreaking
It is heart breaking .. a family, who loved their grandfather and father and didn’t shunt him off to a home for the aged .. that he was killed in this deliberate manner and brings such suffering to the family as well as for the man who lost his life. 🥲

When Boudin came into office, he fired a hand full of prosecutors because they were too aggressive, that should have been a huge red flag

Do you really think it’s reasonable? 1:13 most cases like this they can get away easily with the excuse of mental disorder just like several other recent ones. Even if it was hate crime they will still say no they was not sufficient evidence to proof it was hate crime, and the criminal will find not guilty because of his mental illness ( I have already seen a few like this in the news)
And in one case, the victim, Chinese elderly, went to the court and showed up on the day of hearing, was told the case was dismissed because the DA dropped the charges against the criminal because they had proof that he was mentally ill, how disheartening was that.
This defendant needs to be brought to full and complete justice!

They need to start making examples of what will happen to guys like this. If all he gets is a sap on the wrist, then these attacks will continue because there would be no real consequences. These guy deserves to remain in jail for the better part of his life.

Asian people seems to ignore the things that doesn’t benefits them. Asian people are so busy competing to their own kind. (Asian) they forget what’s important. Unlike blacks, they have sports players, movie stars and different kinds of celebrities. We Asian people also have sports players, movie stars, but none of them are speaking out, because like I said, they don’t care about what goes on. They only pretend to care, but not really. The one person that spoke out was manny pacquio. He stated that instead of harming elders, why not fight him. But for the rest of us, I believed it’s time to wake up, and see the reality. If I did what he did, I wouldn't be afraid to admit what I did was wrong! The only way to move forward and to improve yourself is to know what you did. Since he plead not guilty, it means he didn't believe what he did was wrong! This was my issue why I said what I said that he should be lock up for life!
