You will find that the loader with suspension the tractor will travel far better on the road. I would be tempted to leave it on most of the time.
One of the biggest surprises in recent memory was when I operated a JCB 3cx with ride control on the front loader. What a revelation it was.

Hello Farmer P 😊. Very Nice! 🤗. You look, and seem more comfortable in the t5. More important, though, is that Biskit looks very happy and settled in. She seems to have more space around her than the t7.
Bit of over kill in all the gadgets surrounding you, me thinks. 😒
Looking forward to see how the bale loading goes. Those spikes look a bit shorter than the ones you use on the skid steer. Could be an optical illusion though 😉.
Love these tractor trial videos, Farmer P..... Great fun 😄👍.
Take care and hug for Biskit 🤗 🐶 ❤️

    Morning Ian,
Really enjoying your Tractor "Tests" (and I see Richards looking too!)
Amazing how Tractors have developed over the years. As a teenager the biggest we had for 200 cow dairy farm was 75hp. Now that's considered small.
We got things done with a range of Tractors from Dextas and 135s to a 574 and a couple of Crystals - cabs were a luxury
I guess all the kit has got bigger so Tractors had too.
Having upgraded a year ago I love hydrostatic transmission, headland PTO and my favourite - Cruise Control!
Looking forward to your decision - Good Luck.

What a treat. So early a new video. A tip for the farmer every thing that makes work easy is better for the farmer. The screen can be used as tv if you put it in contact with your phone. Front weight of loader makes a difference. But think about what is on it that makes live easy for you over years. And the auto magic gear change is easy for your girls to do stuff on the road. So what will it be with or without front loader. The cab suspension and front suspension a must . Power 140ponys or bit more..

Seems to be a seriously nice tractor. Maybe you could get one without the touchscreen, but with the front suspension. The touchscreen is a nice gadget, but you can work without it. The suspension is more important for the type of work you intend to do with it. Having the the tractor with a loader would be a good thing for you, loading and bringing back bales with just one machine, would be a big saving in hassle..

Is the green front-wheel button the axle pivot lock?
The FL should slow up a fair bit with a bale on it.
Roading with spikes or forks should be done with a bumper, it reduces the lethality a lot AND makes bending the spikes/forks individually far less likely. There's actually a patent for a camming gear mechanism that can be installed in loaders so you can tip it up all the way, unlock the lower pins and engage the caming and then tip down all the way and it rotates the spikes back from the travel direction completely but I don't think more than 2 companies have ever even offered it.
Him... confrontational with the 140 eh?

Aye, Loader up, forks down just seems safer to me. I think auto, once you get used to it, you'll use it more often on the road trips, maybe not so much in the yard. So front suspension is an option on the T5, just not fitted on this tractor? You were noticably bounced around more than on the T7.

The problem is that I don't think there's any training in driving down narrow lanes and people are just stupid most of he time.

The catalytic filter management is probably regenerating the pdf the thing to watch with that is its computer controlled and in lots of tractors the computer bumps the idle so you lift off for a junction the tractor doesn't slow the way your expecting because the idle is now 1200rpm not 850 it can give you a what the hell moment as it fires you through the junction

Not a farmer, my only thought on the ISObuss is that in the 15 years you will own the tractor, some new implement or bailer, etc. might come out that requires the ISObuss. Future -proofing, if you will, because you don't seem like the guy who buys a new tractor every three years.

T7 sounds like the better deal I know it’s a taller tractor but the way the guy at the dealership was sounding was there was a better deal to be done on that tractor, also it’s a 4 cylinder tractor so it’s going to get in to most gateways no problem providing you don’t put great big wide tyres on it. And you get more of a tractor for your money, the gearbox in the t5 was probably the only nicer feature. Hope your still planning to give Massey ago? Or case although the case and new Holland I think are relatively the same tractor. I think a nice Massey will turn your head away from new Holland

That T5 is just that sexy, but is it powerful enough?

Have you asked Reg and his other guy (sorry I can't remember his name) for their advice?
T5 doesn't look much smaller than the t6 and as you say weight can be added.
Loader up spikes facing down, deffinatley.
You can tell how much quieter and way less bouncy it is.
Have you looked at an ex hire one year old for comparison in price? You'd still get the warranty that's left a well?
What machinery are you looking at putting behind it? Are you looking to buy your own machinery or hiring from other farmers? Just wondering?
    Cheers Ian.

What are Abbas thoughts about the tractor; I’m sure she could lube up and extract you through the hatch!!

With regards to how the Loader should be, my dad was a digger driver, for a very long time.
You will always see diggers with the front loader down not up.
But with but bale spikes should always be pointed down.

jut kidding tho farmer p wanna set your thoughts on a thing tho but you will notice it yourself driving that tractor without the loader will sure not improve the ride just becouse your missing the front weights even with front suspension it makes a diffirence . maybe considder frontlinkage for easy attaching weight or road saftey bumper the way is saw the roadrage in your video it might be a good option couse the will become more and more . for the rest love the videos and greeting to the whole family from the netherlands
