    @Fu-reviews Thanks for the review. I didn't even realised they had created and released this version! Ordered one today from TF-Direct and really looking forward to getting it in-hand. Much better likeness to his appearance in the movie thanks to the improved weathered paint scheme in bot mode and vehicle mode looks so clean and sleek. Add to that the hounds and this looks an absolute home run of a release! 🔥

    my main gripe is the back of the legs, because, i love a good paint job, but i’d rather take consistently bad paint than inconsistent good paint. even so, the weathered paint looks incredible, and if they were for the same price i would get the weathered paint version, but vt-01b goes for a whole 20-40 dollars more than vt-01 where i live. so i guess i’ll get the original :(

    Thanks for the video! I don't know why there are only 2 videos reviewing Lockdown's Battle Damage version on RUclips, not to mention 1 of them is not in English nor my language.
    This version looks much better than the regular color, except for the mask. Why did they leave the mask??? 😂

    • @Fu-Reviews
      @Fu-Reviews  Год назад +1

      Thank you so very much, machvinhhung! ;)
      Yeah, I don't know why they didn't weather the mask. I was really looking forward to putting on the figure, but with the way it is, it sticks out like a sore thumb. Haha!
      This is definitely the version of Lockdown to get and having both versions side-by-side, I can totally recommend it. I was so impressed with the fact that, like in the Bay movies, the car mode is completely spotless and beautiful, but when it transforms, it's a battered, scratched up robot. I can't believe Visual Toys pulled that off. ;)
      Thanks again for your awesome comment and I'm so glad you liked the video!!! ^_^

    Calling this a "battle damaged" version does it a disservice! It straight up includes paint apps that were just missing from the original, especially on the face. All the black on black just makes the detail get lost, but on this one it all pops. Thank you for the video! It has helped me decide on this figure.

    • @Fu-Reviews
      @Fu-Reviews  2 года назад +1

      No, thank YOU, Katie! ;)
      Even though I was very happy with the first version of Lockdown, it always bugged me that it was missing paint aps to bring out the details of the sculpt. Every time I saw it on the shelf, I couldn't unsee the potential the figure had, and this new version is everything I hoped it could be and more. In fact, it looks even better in real life, with the naked eye, opposed to how it appears on the screen in the video. The battle damage appears more silver (with hints of gold) in hand and on screen it appears more gold, than silver. I think you'll be very happy with this version and be sure to let me know what you think of it, if you get one. I know TF-Direct. com has them in stock for $79.95 with free shipping and that's a great deal for all you get. ;)
      Thanks again and hope you're doing well!!! ^_^

    This figure is painted better then the peru kill robot mode but the peru kill paint finish was more accurate it wasn’t a gloss black

    That's life you can't have it both ways, having 100% shiny car and 100% weathered robot.

    amazing review! I didn’t know of this version until I saw this video, where did you order it?

      Sorry to take so long to respond, Ryan, but this is the first chance I've gotten. ;)
      It's been a while, but I think I got this figure from the showzstore. Don't quote me on that, but I buy a lot of figures from that site, so it was probably from there. I checked and they don't have any in stock, though. I did find one on the robotoybase site. I don't know how much shipping would cost, (it's usually expensive on there) but the figure is $49.90. Another site that has it is tf-direct and it costs $79.95 on there, with free shipping. Hope this helps! ^_^

      It's definitely worth $70, PaperMemers! ;)
      Especially if you can get the "Battle Damaged" version, but either is honestly worth that much. ^_^

    Can you answer this question for me why did you stop reviewing gangster kingdoms

    • @Fu-Reviews
      @Fu-Reviews  2 года назад +2

      I promise that I haven't stopped reviewing GK figures, Kd Montana, I just haven't been able to get any of the newly released figures, as of yet. ;)
      I was caught up for a while, but then, a lot(!) more were announced, and I slowly fell behind. I still love them as much as I ever did, and I'll definitely review more, as soon as I can get my grubby little doll hands on them. ;)
      I'm just flattered that you'd ask and hopefully, there'll be a new review for one of them soon!!! ^_^

    Not bad, better than the original. But why that brown, rusty paint? In the he has some of damage yes, but not so much. The original unique toys or the ko bsl version still better because of the accurate grey paint instead of black.

    • @Fu-Reviews
      @Fu-Reviews  2 года назад +1

      I've noticed something since making this video, Black Shuck. In the video, the highlighted paint comes off more gold/brown, but on the shelf and with the naked eye, he looks more silver and you really don't see the gold. It's really weird, but it actually looks more natural than the rusty colour you mentioned. And, it doesn't look quite as overdone as it comes across on screen. I do agree about the original being the more accurate grey and not black and I wish there was some way to combine both figures and make one perfect Lockdown. This one is way better than the original, though, and made me very happy. ^_^
