Not only that but BTS have a Billboard Hot 100 board Number 1 with Coldplay which they both wrote together called 'My Universe. They have performed together on the same stage. How can she say she's a fan of Coldplay if she doesn't know any thing about Coldplay and BTS working together.
If she really was a fan of Coldplay had done the minimum of research she would have known and could have better prepared that question in a way that would have got a great answer from Jin and not made herself look stupid and unprepared for the interview. I've notice a lot of USA interviewer are not that skilled as interviewers they either do not do their research or they simply to not know how to word a question properly to get a interesting answer fromr their guest without sounding as, 'thick as 2 short planks' British sarcastic saying for saying someone is not well developed in the brain department.
Yes! She was stupid and unprofessional with her ignorance by not even doing her research! Of course, Jin handled it with class. And also if she loved Coldplay so much why wouldn't you know that.
Questions are submitted to jin & his team for approval before an interview . Understand that fact or stay ignorant. Celebrities ALWAYS have a list of question dos & don’t which is why the same dumb questions are asked over & over, a journalist plays dumb to try & get more then a usual scripted type answer
She couldn’t even elaborate what he was saying properly. She knew nada about him. Why would you accept the job when you are not gonna do it professionally? And that laugh that startled him 😕
If u will give me money and manage all my expenses then for sure I will and secondly its just the news and people are sharing their opinions. So no need to get offended!!
Another lazy American media personality.....I always cringe when the boys come to America because they have to endure such idiocy. 5 minutes with google would solve that - remember in LA they were asked "do you guys dance a lot?" RM handled that one pretty well. There have been a few good interviews in the States & a few in Britain but for the most part its click bait level stuff.
Why don’t you move to Seoul where interviewers ask really insightful well prepared questions like what an idol plans to have for lunch. You speak Korean right?

They sound completely stupid question can be easily worded to get more out of a guest without sounding like you've not even done any research. That's one of the skills of a great interviewer something most USA interviewers do NOT have.
@ that particular interview was not so great but ill say again… all questions to BTS are submitted first to managers for approval. Managers are very limited in what questions or topics they allow an interviewer to ask BTS, very very limited. that is why the same stupid boring questions get asked at every interview. Seemed to me the unprepared interviewer was trying to go off script and was asking non approved questions about feelings and Jin kept going back to script type answers. Her supposed ignorance of certain topics might have been an ineffective way to get Jin off script. It’s a tactic used by interviewers when they don’t want same questions & answers as the 10 other interviews BTS ( or just Jin) did that day
