@Autofaze Love the videos! Can't wait for the next one. Make sure you have the V8 specific frame stands. Don't forget to paint those plain steel mounts before final install to prevent rust. Call us if you have any questions. For future reference, the hardware included is grade 8 and Zinc coated. They are all metal locknuts so they won't go on as easy as a normal nut and last longer than nylon locknuts. We always recommend placing a drop of light oil or anti-seize when installing everything to prevent a hardships later on and it helps prevent corrosion. The torque you're looking for is 28ft lbs but 26 is fine.
Thanks for stopping by and providing additional details for us! I do regret not getting your powder coating option. I'd highly recommend to go that route! I'll probably pull them off before the engine goes in to protect from rust (clear or black). Kudos to making a great adjustable mount! I was impressed with the quality.
@@MrFleet87 Technically, yes. But we make a different style of LS Conversion mounts for 73+ so you don't have to find the specific Chevy A body clamshell motor mount bracket that is NLA. Email us at technical@dirtydingo.com for exact links and a breakdown of how to put the mounts in an Oldsmobile.
@@DirtyDingoMotorsport I really the adjustability of this but two plates that are 1/4 inch thick equals 1/2 inch higher engine positioning. Do you have one with just 1 plate?
Just got refunded cause these guys don't have them in stock. I'm going to make my own adjustable WELD IN mounts. I'll make them the way I want without changing the oil pan and headers by raising it up a bit. Fabrication is the BEST.
Problem with those mounts is that if you plan on installing the A/C you have to cut off about 3 inches of the adapter plate on the passenger side to get the compressor Brackett to bolt to the block. Thank for not informing your audience of that fact. Good job guys!
LOL one has to love the internet. We have no idea what your application is. Regardless we don't run ac on race cars around here. Sounds like you made it work, that's what hotrodding is all about!!
I wish i bought these since the chinese knockoffs i got seem cheap and one wasnt even close to lining up on my Gbody. i had to completely fab up a spacer to reposition the passenger mount higher and farther out to get both bolt holes lined up and the pass side oilpan off the crossmember, all with engine in the way cuz it took almost 4 hrs to wedge it in there.
So you can’t run the factory A/C brackets with theses mounts ? Looks Like you at about the middle of where the a/c bracket would have been ? I know.. a year late .. I know.. what can I say, I’m slow..

Will these fit a 1973 cutlass supreme?

So glad to see you running down fasteners manually. So many people just ugga dugga them to hell.
Sometimes not grabbing the Milwaukee is satisfying lol! Thanks for watching Brady!
Going with this setup for a 6speed install. Was going to make my own but $150.00 is fair enough. Keep it simple, it's all about the engine mounts!
My thought process too!!

Mine has the same issue. Wouldn’t have bought them if I knew that.
What mounts do you need in order to run AC in factory location? Is there a slider that'll work, does anyone know?
Just run the dirty dingo ac bracket.
Those are cool,, I went a diff route shoulda done that there . Oh well
next time! Thanks for watching Alex
Much better than they're older one piece version.
agreed! thanks for watching!
Just a question! Why solid mounts over rubber or polyurethane?
Good stuff my guy
Thank you!

WHOA MAN, i take that back, these are 366 cdn dollars on amazon for raw metal.
i will fab my own before paying that!
ouch, they are $134 down here in the states. These went on flawless on our Nova project.
great info
Thanks for checking it out!
Wjat would worry me would be it moving later I guess you could lock tight them.
You could also check them when you service the engine. Lots of guys run them and dont have issues though 👍
Hemi as the same size. Ls based
Look for some for 1990 Toyota pickup with 4 cylinder and I'm putting 2000 chevy truck LS 5.3 motor in it. Any help or advice would be great.
I’m doing the same swap did you ever finish it?
@@dannyreid1845 no still working on mine its a winter project
@@jasonscruggs986 What transmission are you using

I have gen 3 5.3 that I want to put in a 65 fleetwood Cadillac. I haven't looked at the mounts in my car, but do you think these will work?
If you can run sbc frame stands I dont see why not?!
I have a 01 s10 i want to put a 5.3 ls but i see you have to notch the crossmember will using these help me not have to do that so the oil pan clears?
Google is your friend for that. I am sure guys have used these on s10s but I know you'll need a swap pil pan regardless. Thanks for watching
My dingo mounts don’t fit the passenger side hits the A/C mount. Fml.
I have never tested them with a a/c setup.
Im working on a 1980 chevy luv well the bracket work on my frame?
Not sure. Depends on what frame to engine stands you have/get.
I’m planning to do a ls swap on my 68 c10 you think they’ll fit? Or work
Absolutely. These will let you move the engine back and forth so you should be able to reuse your stock driveshaft.
So you can’t run the factory A/C brackets with theses mounts ? Looks Like you at about the middle of where the a/c bracket would have been ?
I know.. a year late .. I know.. what can I say, I’m slow..
To be honest I never paid attention, race cars don't need a/c lol 😆
73 C10 can u used the original motor motor to sbc or run the one u did
depends on what frame stands you have. You might have to play around with it, never done a LS swap in a C10.
Which engine perches and mount brackets are you using with these slider mounts?
Moroso solid engine mounts and SBC perches.
Where can i get a set thanks
On their website or google! Thanks for watching 👍
You mean to tell me that I wouldn't have to cut my drive shaft on my 1989 Caprice Ls3 swap with these?
There is a good chance you could have ran the factory driveshaft.
Will those fit my 92 silverado
Shouldn't be a issue! I know guys have used them in that generation.
Which setup is best for clam shell style mounts GM
I am not sure. I like the body massage solid mounts give LOL!
What about right hand drive vehicles?
Left or right hand drive would not matter for dingo swap mounts. What's your project?
Would these fit for a 1969 Camaro 5.3 swap?
Absolutely
Will this work for a 4x4 k5 blazer?
I dont see why not with the right frame stands.
Can I put a Ls in a mustang
I'd you want to make it faster then yes 👍
Wut 😂🤦♂️ why couldn’t you. 🤦♂️
I’m
ready
Bought these but the non slider ones. For an LS into my 72 chevelle. Completely useless. Don’t fit at all. Complete garbage.
Tyler the key word you said was non slider LOL. these are legit, would use again.
@@Autofaze yeah the non sliders are junk
@@tylerseabook9423 bummer! Ugh
Those things are garbage.
Lots of high horsepower builds running them. Why do you feel that way?
