Another fantastic realistic outline of Our Weather. Thanks Tim.
Was a couple decently strong tornadoes this evening unfortunately.
Thank you user-lh!
Thanks Tim for yet another no-nonsense, information-packed wx geek out! This is the first stream I've caught, and while not as tight and polished as your pre-recorded vids, your point about timeliness of severe wx info is spot-on. It's interesting to watch your narrative thought processes get illustrated through the amazing variety and quality of the software at your disposal. It's no small thing to go from one package to another on the fly to illustrate the point you're trying to explain. Impressive as always. The instantaneity of data available from dense networks of sensors and unblinking (mostly) satellite data across numerous bands has revolutionized how we relate to this thin shell of an atmosphere that gives this planet life. Thank you for the work you do!
Thanks, yes it's the second or third live stream (I think) that I've done since 2018 so things are still a bit rough... but I'm glad it all went well. Great observations!
Comprehensive and informative to a very high level once again. Great work and thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I was out chasing/spotting today. When I was driving west along 44 this morning from springfield to joplin, I thought we were really in trouble. I thought I was back in west Oklahoma for a minute or two. Strong south wind, so much moisture and energy, I could just feel it.
We appreciate the report!
