Story 2 in my opinion no I don’t understand why your mother in law and your husband can’t let you decide YOUR baby’s name that you made? Plus if he wants to divorce over a name you should he is gonna be controlling af
Story 2: Gurl your mother in law already got to name you first bby after someone in her family. And now she throws a toddler temper tantrum when she doesn't get to name YOUR baby. And PLUS I COMPLETELY GET IT. That name means alot to you, it was the favorite song of your (sadly) deceased family members (aside from your younger sister). AND your mother in law already got to name your first baby after a dead family member, so why can't you name it after your dead family members favorite song!? It just doesn't make sense to me. Honestly good of this is the end of your marriage, your HUSBAND and mother in law. And the fact that your mother in law immediately didn't like you just bc you u were rich is UNBELIEVABLE! I completely agree, she got to name one of OP's baby's, she doesn't get to name another when MIL(mother-in-law) literally hates OP, plus Valerie Diana is a beautiful name, unlike that other name which I can't even spell. It's only fair, if she wanted to name a kid that name, she could've decided it as a second middle name for OP's third baby (ppl can have two middle names), or have adopted a darn baby if she SOOO much wanted a baby to be named that name.
MIL didn’t name the first child tho lol. OP and her husband decided to name the child Luke and they told the mum and she was happy about it. I see both sides of the story tbh but I don’t like that MIL and husband wouldn’t just take the middle name offer thing
I agree with you. Also, the fact that as soon as her husband and her mother in law walked into the room, they started screaming at her, calling her a backstabbing bitch instead of congratulating her and the baby just blows my damn mind.
