Such a great episode! Just a few tips if there are some new fish owners reading the comments: There is like a huge controversy on having a bowl for your fish. Most fish require a tank with a pump in order to have a good bacteria culture, so the fish doesn't get sick. Having to change like 1-2 cups of water out twice a day is not ideal for the fish, as it stresses them out. So please consider either a bigger bowl or a tank, and all fish should have filters! =)

No offence but I'm experienced in fish care and those fish are tropical fish, they need a tank that's larger ( a tank shoud be 1 gallon per 1 inch of fish). The tank should have a bubbler, gravel, hiding places, and a filter. Heat should be about room temperature (thermoniter recommended). It may take a while for the ecosystem to set up so don't worry if you lose many fish right away. Good luck! Hope you enjoy fish as much as I do!
Pandas 424 Is this in reference to the bowl or the tank they bought? It seems like they did a good job getting these fish the a proper tank and set up. I think they knew that bowl wasn’t gonna cut it.

I do agree that they could thrive a little bit more with an filter and heater, but it seemed like they knew they should get a bigger setup. Also, I have the same pineapple in my fish tank!!!

They should have a filter but hun those are not tropical fish. They’re fresh water. They will be fine if changed out and drops are put in when changed. I work in a small pet shop and this is fine for them for now, they said they will get a bigger tank and filter but this is fine for now. Honestly they only need a ten gallon and more of these fish can be put in with a ten gallon. Sorry but you are VERY wrong on the tropical fish part. I don’t even know where you got that... they’re tetras.

Please don’t ever stop what you’re doing. I know you put a lot of work into these videos but I just wanted to let you know that super cooper Sunday is my super hero and it literally saved my life. I had attempted suicide once and was about to again and then I met cooper on RUclips. I know it’s crazy to say that but I lived so I could watch cooper grow up. He was my only reason to live. I’ve come a LONG way and am out of that mind frame now but my life was in total disarray and SCS was a constant that I could count on to anchor me to reality and life! I just wanted to recognize the effort and hard work you put in and let you know that it’s not in vain. THANK YOU TREVOR!
Ps. I just rescued 2 glow fish one pink and one purple, 2 snails one golden and one white and a betta that’s black and blue and green. This lady lost her house in a fire and needed someone to take the fish from her. So I took them. I named the pink one Chelsea, the purple one trever, the white snail is koda, the golden snail is cooper, and the betta fish is mocha! The only one is missing is mama Martin. My frog will be called MNM for mama Martin 😊😊😉😉

"Actually" (I hate myself for using that word), the more gallons the less work it is to take care of. You can do less frequent water changes and it will take longer for algae to build up. These fish also need at least 20-gallon tanks.

The sucker fish you want is called a plecko, to let you know I would only get one plecko because they get big. Look at a rainbow shark too they look amazing.

Our mouse lives in a 40 gallon tank (we only have one becuase he’s male)
Please make sure she has a 40gall breeder tank! They can not live in tiny things like critter trails or tiny tails.

If you guys want a new fish tank I suggest a 5 gallon fluval spec V aquarium. I have one and it work great 1 gallon per smaller fish like guppies and glow fish is a good idea. The fluval also has a night/uv light

I am kinda a fish keeper, but I do know they need about a 5 gallon or more is better and it needs a filter and air pump. Great choice on the aquarium👍👍

If you wanna see the effects just look at their eyes. The area around the retina will change its Colour from yellow/green to red, that means the temperature is not right. Increase the temperature or put them somewhere around 20-25°C that should help. I did it too and it really helped.
