December 30, 2017---- DAMN! Time does flies by....Missed the 90's.... I remember seeing Mortal Kombat in theatres...It was awesome back then.... Missed the cast and crew...great movie....
Dude... i'm crying right now. Robin Shou, Linden Ashby and Chris Casamassa are my childhood heroes. Among everything that happened from Washington, which is now tainted, really depresses me. Until I came across this video that says "Mortal Kombat Reunion." And I see this video, and I burst into tears, not tears of sorrow but tears of joy, and hope. Though I wish I was there, that doesn't matter. You have experienced it first-hand, and you shared your happiness with us. I love those guys. I just also wish that Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Bridgette Wilson, Christopher Lambert and Keith Cooke Kobayashi would've been present, but I'm sure they're there in spirit. Overall, I just wanna say thank you. Thank you for restoring joy to me, even if for a moment.
I totally relate to feeling abnormally emotional and happy when fond childhood memories pop up...especially because what's happening in Washington is so disgusting and destructive. I feel ya.
These guys are awesome, amazing and down to earth and it’s amazing how good they are to the fandom. Guys like these are what the definition of icon should be. Im not sure what his name is but I’m so happy for the guy who hosted/ put it together
We Asians hardly aged because of the climate and water 😎 you'll understand the difference between our water compare to us water. No disrespect but the water in the us is like drinking a bottle of blade
So cool to see these guys together. Sucks everyone didnt make the meet though. Subs always been my favorite since I played the original game as a kid on the Sega genesis, but I gotta say the best fight scene in the film was with Johnny and scorp. I laughed my ass off when scorpion runs up to the scaffle, looks up, and screams, "GET DOWNNN HERE!!!" I thought that just made the movie at that point.
The First Mortal Kombat is still the Best Videogame Adaption ever.Still to this Day.Period.I bought the Movie 3 Times.First on DVD.Then on Bluray now i have it on Itunes. It will forever be a Great Movie.
It would be amazing if they brought out a third movie with the same kind of story as MK11 where Johnny Cage meets his past self. Something with time travel connected to it. I think it would be awesome.
RIP Trevor Goddard who played Kano and unfortunately took his own life, it was a great movie miles better than Street Fighter lol (fact Van Dam was mostly drunk on set)
I just found thes videos surfing YT last night. Thank you so much for posting this, this made my day! I have been a fan of this franchise and film for over 20 years, since I seen in the in the theaters when I was a kid in 1995. It was SO very warming to see all these actors reunited again and hear all these questions answered, things I've wondered about the movies for the past 20 years. I never knew about the Scorpion and Reptile fights being tacked on to the film later on after the test screenings wanted more fights; the makes a lot more sense about the setting for the Scorpion fight, that random wooded area and then netherrealm. Did you personally organize this reunion? Because if so, how the hell does your channel not have more subs?! This is simply amazing to see, especially getting Paul WS Anderson to appear in the flesh. The original MK has become a criminally forgotten of and underrated film in the world of these non-stop Marvel films and shlock these days. It's nice to see there is still a passionate fan base for these movies. I watched some of your other Q&A videos, I'm glad you poked Anderson with questions about a reboot/sequel. It sounds like he is sadly out of the mix with this franchise now in terms of a new movie, although I agree with him a continuation with these characters would be phenomenal. The cast still looks wonderful for their ages, I swear they could pull off another movie if given the chance. Sadly, I don't think any studio is going to fork out the cash to make a sequel to a 20 year old movie now. :( Time to write to Netflix! They revive anything even if it was in TV show format!
Oh my GOD i got tears in my eyes!!!! Mortal Kombat It is the best movie of my childhood. To se all the actors after so many years was very emotional for me Thank You Moviedude18.
I've looked at all the Q&A footage I could find, but sadly there's not a lot of talk about how close a third MK movie ever got to being made. I wish someone would have asked Robin if it was ever in talks for real at all, and to what extent. I remember in the late 90's and early 2000's I would be checking the iMDB message boards religiously every single day (for years!!!) hoping that there would be some shred of news on a possible third installment. There was a Linden Ashby interview on some talkshow where he announced he would be returning for a third movie called "MK: Devastation" and he even said he read the script (why didn't anyone ask him about this, seriously??!! What was the storyline gonna be?), then some unknown music video director called "mink" was going to direct the third movie for a while, etc etc. Then there were rumours that hurricane Katrina had demolished the sets... I'm just wondering how much of that was actually happening, and how much of it was just empty gossip. The hard core fans on the iMDB message boards were hoping against hope (Shang Tsung pun intended) for years, and I remember feeling really disappointed at the lack of information. I fear that the complete f***-up that was Annihilation did so much damage that they just couldn't take the risk of making a third movie. So sad...
Yeah.. from everything I've read, and everything I've heard, Annihilation really hurt any chances of a third movie. First off, for me personally, I am a BIG Johnny Cage fan, and to kill off that character early in the second movie after he had just beat Scorpion and Goro in the first movie, is simply ridiculous. So the failing of that movie started there; never mind that Linden Ashby and Brigitte Wilson didn't sign on to be in it. I just think ultimately, the studios didn't want to invest in a big budget CGI infuse third installment without some reassurances that they could recreate the magic of the first film. Had Annihilation been half-way decent, then maybe it would've happened, but it was too big of a swing and a miss I think.
Dios lo bendiga a Chris cassamasa y Linden Ashby y al campeón Robin Shou Liu Kang protector de earthrrealm y champions mortal kombat todos viva por siempre el mortal kombat
Didn't know that they did included Quan Chi character in that movie. The only reason I could think of having those deleted scenes because Shang Tsung was the primary sorcerer in the story and Quan Chi represent Nether Realm. When they did MK Annihilation, I was wonder Shinnok character was introduced but he supposed to be in Nether Realm but supporting Shao Kahn in Outworld.
First step is always hard and to able to make a success. this was just awesome in the 90's, I remember! Mortal Kombat is the thing all the bad-ass kids talked about and even often got punished because we were carried away while re-enacting it too enthusiastic.
Até nos dias de hoje: o melhor e mais coerente filme já produzido das telinhas dos games: MK the movie, simplesmente um filme pra ficar na história... mortal kombat ...
my childhood years first movie was very good !! one of my favorite of all times !! transformed from the game to a movie !! :) paul anderson should direct MK anihilation too !! too bad he didn't :( nostalgic times let's hope one day there will be a serious remake !! :)
I feel like they are still keeping secrets from mk1 movies like deleted scenes never seen before. They didn’t even let chris casa keep the scorpion 🦂 suit so you know they were strict with that movie set
A lot of people say that both MK films were shit, when really, the 1st one was awesome. Annihilation was the shitty one. Even with it's rating, the 1st MK movie remained the greatest video game movie until recently with Detective Pikachu and Sonic The Hedgehog. Yes I'm aware of the Resident Evil films. Despite their box office success, I can never consider those as video game films. Who the fuck is Alice? Oh that's right, she's Paul W. S. Anderson's wife.
I would have loved to have seen all of the characters so for me it was really not a reunions there were several people that did not indicate who they were
The 90s...my childhood and Mortal Kombat!
Scorpion was amazing and the Johnny Cage fight. All three of these actors need to do another MK movie.
Or at least cameos
They're too old ass clown. Get a grip and think of them, not your selfish self.

Nah, nothing will come close to the original. It was done well and the way hollywood is today it ill be trashed.

The thing is, in today times, Chris couldn't have played Scorpion because of the character's Japanese origins.
