Also the Abyss Order is actively trying to unalive the Traveler who is their Prince/ss ‘s twin ,.. like WHAT. We have not seen you in 500 YEARS and are traveling through 7 NATIONS, dealing with 7 (ARCHONS)GODS that can pretty much kill if they want to with the occasional war, conflict, and problems that The Traveler happened to stumble and forced to take part in JUST FOR EVEN A SLIVER IF INFORMATION ON THEIR WHEREABOUTS, and THAT IS HOW THEY REACT.

I think it was definitely executed better than what they tried to do with "Nathan" from the Inazuma arc. He wasn't even present in the story and yet he turned out to be a Schneznayan Fatui member sent by Pierro that sabotaged the Resistance by even releasing the Tatarigami on Inazuma. Enjou is a similar case where he attempts to disguise as a person to get the Traveler to work with him and possibly obtain the book that ultimately got Orabashi killed. And I think it was executed sooo much better given that he was present throughout the whole thing.
Thr funny thing is, Enjou technically really didn't lie to us, nor did he lie to the vishaps, he just explained things in an easily misleading way. Although you could tell that he does seem to have some care over the Traveler than anyone else.

She wouldn't have been able to collapse the tower with her thoughts alone like she said she could if she was merely some human-looking Vishap. Why do I feel like the vishaps were testing grounds for a greater purpose? The lector did take the extra effort of explaining it was deadly to the elemental beings.

She wouldn't have been able to collapse the tower with her thoughts alone like she said she could if she was merely some human-looking Vishap.
I guess you also missed the part about the necklace pieces, being divided between the three Orobashi follower groups, none of which were Vishaps.
