I was privileged to see them live in 2017. Video cannot do justice to how big and powerful Adam's voice actually is in person, and then how soft and tender he can go, conveying incredible emotion in every song. He's a master.
In my opinion Adam Lambert is the most versitile male singer alive today. He can do so many things with his voice that people only dream about.

I am sooooo glad that you are reacting to Adam Lambert...I know he's not Freddie, but the man can sing like no other in this century...the perfect person to be the front man for Queen other than Freddie
I appreciate this reaction as Adam has said in interviews that this song is one of the hardest to sing. He said it is the "killer" "it keep going up and up." He is organically the complete package for Queen's frontman. Vocally versitle, naturally theatrical, camp, glam and an all around nice guy.

You're making perfect sense Yazik! It is wonderful to get input from a contemporary young male vocal coach such as yourself. You understand the greatness of Adam Lambert's voice He is a powerhouse vocalist, he is a a genuine showman, he is sexy as hell and he has that gift to move people with his voice. He penetrates our souls. He's very grounded and he can be very funny! He is the total package of perfection!
I have heard his head voice up to G5 effortlessly with beautiful, floating tone. I agree he can go to B5 or higher. I have actually heard him sing live up to B5 with his mix voice!

That is what separates Adam from other artist.. He has so much passion, you feel his words and voice run right thru you!!
The truth is you can react every day with a different song, that' s how amazing his performances are. Can't choose one or ten best performances, every show he does, every solo project, every single note he sang - masterpieces.

I think that you should do a series of Adam Lambert from before American Idol, during the show, each of his albums and then his years with Queen. Kind of a vocal journey with him through the years!!! 😀😀 He's the most amazing singer!!!
Also, Adam and Brian do riffs always before their performance of I Want It All (on 2017-2018 tour the riffing was always between Get Down Make Love and IWIA), and it is sometimes completely amazing. It's also different every time, a real highlight of the show. There are short examples on Adam's Instagram posted on Feb 24 & 25.

If you ever want to hear Adam's head voice, listen to his performance of My Conviction from Hair. It is early Adam and in some parts he sound more like a soprano. It's unbelievable.

I had the opportunity to see Adam live a few months ago and his voice is so much better live! It's really hard to describe but there are times it does vibrate through you. A live performance I suggest you react to is just Adam with an acoustic guitar accompaniment singing On the Moon (his song) or Blinding Lights (The Weekends cover song). These are both live from his home. Just amazing! This definitely was not one of the best videos of him singing this song. If you haven't seen a video of him singing Nessun Dorma at the Queen show last summer in Italy you should...just wow!

If you want to hear adam’s higher notes you should check out some of his american idol performances like “A Change is Gonna Come”, “Born to be Wild” or “Ring of Fire” he can deeeefinitely go higher than what you’ve heard ahah he’s actually pretty known for doing super high notes you’ll probably really enjoy it
or there’s also this video of his best vocals by Popcrush (i think?) idk the full name, but just type “Adam lambert best vocals” and you should see it :) it really showcases his voice

Adam’s voice & vocal skill are spectacular! I can’t sing a single note so I don’t understand what you are talking about, but there was a documentary done about how he came to sing with Queen & they reported that Adam can sing every note that can be played on a guitar.
Queen heard about Adam Lambert from an uploaded video of him singing a bit of Bohemian Rhapsody for an American Idol audition. He was on Season 8 and went all the way to the final where he came in second to Kris Allen. The rest is history and he as been on tour with the band for the last 5 years and is now in Las Vegas doing a September residency with them.

One of my favorite Adam performances is his "Down the rabbit hole" vh1 unplugged performance. If you're interested to listen to some of his original work, I'd really recommend it.

Just came across this, u should check out The Show Must Go On, on Queens Channel that they released, u will be blown away.
Check out these songs at the Park Theater in Las Vegas in 2018, much later than this - ten night residency and they were great performances. Production, costumes, ADAM, everything amazing.

Thank you so much for reacting to Adam Lambert videos. I think his voice is amazing, but he is relatively unknown, and I think it's such a shame. It feels a little bit like sharing a nice secret when someone on RUclips reacts to his singing, and to hear a vocal expert like you talk about him is so wonderful and informative! : ) If you are looking for recommendations, please react to his "Brigadoon" performance! He was only 22 at the time. It's musical theater, so quite unlike the Queen catalogue or his own. A very lovely, special performance.
If musical theater isn't really appealing, then I recommend his cover of Rihanna's "Stay" or his performance of "Love Kills" at iHeart Radio with Queen (2014). Thank you!
S J I would not say Adam is relatively unknown😕.. He is a global star, he just isn't huge in the US or the UK..
I used the phrase "relatively unknown," not "unknown," because while he is a star, his mainstream exposure and commercial success does not equal other big name acts that I think his talent matches or surpasses. I am a huge fan of his, and I'm not using that phrase as a negative judgment of Adam but of the music industry.

Yazik, I love to see you again and hear again after a long time! ♥️ I like this version. Adam has a very good voice and I like him as a singer too. And I also ask you to listen to the Dimas version. It's just another musical demand. Dimash has more opera voice. I love that opera tinge. You just have to see that version. You just have to! (Please, please, please :-) ).

Check out the next video Adam Lambert American Idol Journey. I think his stripped down version of Smokey Robinson's TRACKS OF MY TEARS is the song for his high head vocals where its so tight you can barely hear him until he gradually gets louder. BRAVO!
