It is really pricey but if i want Lobster, i go to the Sterling Buffet. Sooooooooo good. I went on my birthday and never thought i would spend so much but it was so good. And you can have all the lobster you want. Good size tails too :-)
I didnt realize they limited the amount of lobster you could get until I watched this. That pretty crappy. If you are going to charge me an extra $20 a person you better give me more than a single lobster tail especially since you can getting pretty much everything else on that side of the buffet on the regular side.
WELL Land---- you have heard how so many people over do it with the lobster eating -- I know it is buffet but PLEASE be sensible.. if everyone gobbled up tons of lobster -- there would not be any left for the rest.. I stayed at the Rio in another life when an internet friend I made was working there. I've been to the Buffet for breakfast and the food was wonderful. The rooms were really nice and the stay was very enjoyable. I would love to go back and try the buffet again.
We ate at the Sterling Brunch last year in April and will be doing it again this year. I know it is expensive but the food was incredible. Didn't have to take a lobster ticket and the momoso's were incredible and kept coming.. This buffet looks crummy compared to it.
Hi Derrick!! While you were reviewing this, I was in Vegas eating seafood at an alternative buffet!! I wish that I'd had the benefit of this particular review. However...I did follow another of your entertaining recommendations and for the most part-, I ate so many crab legs that I thought I'd grow pinchers!! Also got to enjoy mussels, clams,scallops...but wowee!! Were they ever salty! However, a great buffet in Vegas was on my "Bucket list", as was a trip to the Grand Canyon! I totally blew my "low carb diet"---but not at the buffets!! You had so many recommendations that were so much fun, (just as you are), and this little trip was a blast!! What a fine city you live in! But, it's nice to be home in Vancouver, Canada!! I guess each of us love our own city and country! Thanks for the pleasure you have given to me through your entertaining reviews!! Back to 1999 and early 2000's, you could eat unlimited lobsters in the Village Seafood buffet. I often fly to Las Vegas twice a year, mainly for this feast besides gambling.
Hi all you can vegas! I have a suggestion. Is there any way you can do more videos on off strip casinos? Like gold coast dinner buffet, Aliante buffet etc? Maybe some of the lesser known casino buffets? It would be great to see what other places have to offer. Your reviews are pretty great.

All You Can Vegas I think all the buffets got worse in time with the price change... Maybe Caesars is the only one that actually got better over the years but really expensive
straightoutvietx bacchanal is pretty expensive but worth it. Luckily both times i went my group ran into some card holders with vouchers and took us in for only half price.
Everything about the Rio has gone downhill since Harrah's/Caesars bought it years ago. They need to sell it to someone that cares about restoring it. They only keep it because world Series of poker. It used to be a fun vibrant place with a lot of energy. It's really sad how bad they let it go.
davh10 YEP! it was a beautiful place before the Marnell's sold to Harrahs for $880 milly somewhere around 2000. It blows my mind how messy it looks around each pan of food. The bosses of the food runners there really need to train them to keep it cleaner and much more neat than that! #WasntLikeThatPreHarrahsOwnership!
I also noticed the mess about some of the bins. especially in the Mexican food area. But then again, Mexico is a giant craphole anyway so it's probably more authentic that way.

buffet presentation looks pretty sloppy. workers not caring. i know its hard work but dang, looks real sloppy. bet they don't clean the seafood before cooking or steaming.
apparently this is one of the more expensive and better buffets in general and pretty large... you would think that they would have a couple of full time people keeping the food service area clean at all times... to give them some benefit of the doubt, they may have just had a crowd there and these places can get messy very quickly and they simply have not gotten to it yet... every mom knows what I mean... at noon the house looks great... by 3pm, you are like "how did this happen?" Wow! Things have changed since the 1970s!! The big thing back then was the$1.99 PRIME RIB Buffets that most casinos offered! The last time I went to Nevada was for our honeymoon in 1984, and spent 8 days in Lake Tahoe living large...
Have not been to this buffet in years...but back in the day (like 10+ years ago), this was the place to grub. People would stand in line for hours. Looking at it now (don't know the price), the food looks decent, but not overwhelmingly awesome. If you're in Vegas...try the 24-hour buffet run. Within five properties, you can have as many buffets as you want...within a 24-hour period. Cost is about $60...but worth it. And believe me..by the time you hit buffet No. 3, you'll be asking for a salad. :-)
I would try the mussels and clams and the fried shrimp and lobster all of it and the crab legs LOL leave no seafood unturned and oysters too I CAN EAT PIZZA ANYWHERE LOL

Correct, no more parade in the sky, this area was packed w/energy and balcony 3 deep w/parade, floor show; also, seafood buffet is not worth it.

Ive been there like 2-3 X since I live here! But theyve upped their prices....idk how much it is now? They used to be $24.95 per person.
Dinner is now $29.99 ($31.99 Fri.-Sun.), $25.99 Sat.-Sun. brunch. No more lobster!

So what was the total cost or did I miss that? The one in Vagas looked a lot better and had more to choose from.
Have not been to this buffet in years...but back in the day (like 10+ years ago), this was the place to grub. People would stand in line for hours. Looking at it now (don't know the price), the food looks decent, but not overwhelmingly awesome.
If you're in Vegas...try the 24-hour buffet run. Within five properties, you can have as many buffets as you want...within a 24-hour period. Cost is about $60...but worth it. And believe me..by the time you hit buffet No. 3, you'll be asking for a salad. :-)
if you do not like rare steaks - why did you take one?? you could also ask the chef to char it on the grill - love prime rib
