Great job Lewis, really looking forward to Part 2. Bit concerning that this video didn't come up in my subscription feed, but I found it anyway! Cheers, Mandy
The pole get driven down into the ground very deeply to hold them in place, these post have been in there a very long time with no sign of rot, they last a very very ling time
Hello Lewis, love the videos. I am about to start my own business and would like to ask for your advice. I have been working on housing sites in the last seven years, with a set price for everything. I would like to ask you how do u price jobs like this. Do you price them for daywork, or hourly rate, or just work out roughly how much labour its gona take and give them a price based on that? I would like to give fair prices to customers but obviously I have a family as well and kids and I dont want to price something and than being short on money. Thank you
Hi buddy, so I work out on a day rate, work out how long I think the jobs going to take me, add a little to make sure I’m covered, then work out the materials, add a little bit more for stuff I’ve forgotten about, then add it all up, it’s hard when you first start out because you want to be fair but then you have to know your worth aswell, being to cheap can also price you out of jobs as customers will wonder why your so cheap if that makes sense
