We knew you guys would be asking for a guys' version, so we are back with another episode this week! Share with us about your thoughts after watching both episodes!
John is clearly the most mature of the 3 and his sharings reflect that. One point though on his “I only want to be a parent when I know I’m ready to sacrifice to be a parent” - that is great but honestly you can only ever think you’re ready, nothing prepares you for the sacrifices parenthood calls for except the real thing
I always knew John is wise and has broad perspectives and experiences in life. This episode truly portrayed that. *John, I think you'll make a good author of a relationship advice book.*
John has good insights and wisdom in relationships. Respect to all the guys (Zhin & Bolin) here for sharing their expectations in relationships. My opinion/ thinking on relationship: • Learn to manage your own expectations in relationship first. • Whatever you give, you must be able to receive it. (Learn to give and take) • Always be sincere, respectful and be the man of your words. Road to blissful relationships...
I think that this episode has equal air time among all the guys where they get to share their perspectives. Looking forward to more of such episodes from different people(:
Since leah mentioned about when people age, they tend to grow and be more mature, why not do an episode on age gap (5-10 years age gap) relationship talks?
Hi Leah, I really liked the way you host these chats with the TSL members. It brings the best out of them and as viewers we know what is genuine. Your doing a great job!
I think the thing about age is only partly true about ‘shelf life’. There is real physical considerations for pregnancy, etc, where the compilations are more prevalent once past 30 years old
So back on "it's tough times" topic, what do guys expect their partners to do/say when the going has gotten rough at work and life? ILY? It'll be better? Or we'll do this together? And how okay are guys with their partners doing better at work (not necessarily earn more) but maybe just ahead in terms of clbing the ladder?
maybe not here but in a previous video he kept on saying "THE mother" because he wanted to avoid saying "his mother" when referring to his partners mom, i died at that part lmao
i think youre projecting pretty hard lol, have a truly truly objective and open-minded idea about whether he is straight/bi/gay (not saying you can do it), and rewatch, and you really won't get that at all
Would appreciate if there's a change in host occasionally for more variety in opinions and reactions and ways of hosting the episodes, what do y'all think?
This isn’t guys expectations, this is bolin, zhin and john’s expectations, I feel like I’m learning about the 3 of them, not necessarily guys in general LOL
Don’t live in denial. Generally, only a few things TOP the list for the guys, same for the ladies. The rest are just minor preferences that they can live with or without.
This is so disturbing. I hope this is not the major representative of the men in Singapore. Because if they are, it is a major cause for concern. There are principals, values and beliefs that are truths which provide for successful n happy marriages and raising good children. These values are not old fashioned, they r timeless truths if we want a quality marriage tat last for a life time. Sadly it is not being portrayed here and the views they expressed though sounds reasonable are in fact views that are eventual cause for broken families. A lot of their expectations r pretty self-serving. Also surprise surprise, sex is not the most important thing in a marriage or in a relationship. It is right for him to say he doesn't believe in marriage. Because many don't even know the purpose of marriage anymore. Tats y so many are divorce today. I hope Zula will bring in couples with long happy marriages and share more with the young people.
ahh no hate lah but i feel like john like keep talking sia like he's not exactly letting the others speak... hais i mean okay its fine he's eager and excited to share, but wah i abit the -

Zhin: must vibe w me
John: maturity and compromise v impt
Bolin : piak piak piak
Really love John's perspective and how he articulate how compromising is important in a relationship

Zhin’s word of “expectations doesn’t mean it will lead to disappointment but it can also lead to improvement” really stuck with me
I always knew John is wise and has broad perspectives and experiences in life. This episode truly portrayed that. *John, I think you'll make a good author of a relationship advice book.*
You can clearly see the 3 different types of attachment theory examples in this video, avoidant, anxious and secure. Loved all their inputs!
Who's who & why? :)
secure john
fearful zhin
dismissive bolin

Millenials of Singapore or MOSG did such an episode on their youtube channel.
You can check it out here

My wife is 11 years older than me and there ain't any issues.
john has a really rational perspective. would be good if you guys had him on more relationship videos!
John's very mature and open-minded. Bolin sounds like a recipe for breakups. Haha🤣
Financial responsibility is more important than how much someone makes....
Hi Leah, I really liked the way you host these chats with the TSL members. It brings the best out of them and as viewers we know what is genuine. Your doing a great job!
I always look forward to john's perspective in any video because he just has a way with words that makes him easier to relate to
John makes me feel like he is a very good listener and adviser, nice to have him as a friend, can hear out from a logical and unbiased POV
Love John's sharing!! It's really good advice for people looking/currently in relationship!!!
I think the thing about age is only partly true about ‘shelf life’. There is real physical considerations for pregnancy, etc, where the compilations are more prevalent once past 30 years old
Kind of wish Rainer is in this video and they will tease him about Renae and him like in the Girl's expectations video XD

This definitely needs to be longer like a podcast or smth maybe 30-60mins cause not everyone gets a chance to say what they want
Loved how the guys articulate more wisdom and rationality in their sharings.
hygiene, transparency in financial, believe each other, and good strong communication for me is a must.
john is so wise here😆 i find myself agreeing with him and learning stuff from him! enjoyed this video sm!!
YAYAYA thank youu!! I've been looking forward to this episode :)
love john's input and insights. what a great and mature guy.
I think there are a lot of subtle hints that zhin is dating a guy
maybe not here but in a previous video he kept on saying "THE mother" because he wanted to avoid saying "his mother" when referring to his partners mom, i died at that part lmao
i think youre projecting pretty hard lol, have a truly truly objective and open-minded idea about whether he is straight/bi/gay (not saying you can do it), and rewatch, and you really won't get that at all
zhin is dating someone?
Zhin loves to use the word "vibe" 😅
Wow Jon is so wise 😂
John is a keeper, his gf is lucky 😂
Learned so much from this
Would appreciate if there's a change in host occasionally for more variety in opinions and reactions and ways of hosting the episodes, what do y'all think?
Yes i would like to nominate Hafeez as the host!
i feel like the editing/sharings very chop chop and short. like eh?
Good idea!
john is literally me male version
Long distance relationship has different set of expectations as well.
hey I liked the episode but I feel it was pretty hard to hear Leah (maybe her mic?)
It was in this episode........ that i fell in love w Zhin. resonate w everything he sayssssss damn. Vibes.
Just realised this combi is the "talented good-looking people" sj was talking about
Did anyone notice the topics were shown at the bottom?
This isn’t guys expectations, this is bolin, zhin and john’s expectations, I feel like I’m learning about the 3 of them, not necessarily guys in general LOL

Me single but I loved this advice
yo just realised how similar I am to Zhin HAHAHA always thought that I want to be like Bolin.
Maybe do another video of zodiac men or zodiac women compatibility?
After watching this i think my husband to be is a saint for putting up with me for the last 12 years LOL
The person, the person
Wa I'm like zhin when handling conflict.
pretty interesting
I love Leah still
John look like disguised toast.
To the guy in the video who said he's anti marriage, don't bother dating and waste a girl's time.
we expect girls to be the ones confessing more than us boys, and lets not place it under manhood or shit. Help us out, ladies.
Ya la everyone break up already la
Bolin very poor meh. All same same la

Screen time is also dependent on what the producers want to add in the video
@@ARoseJMJ ahh i see okayokay
@@ky-vi2ps I'm pretty sure the rest had enough screen time, the video is edited and what is inside here is what they think is best for the viewers.
Lol.. tell TSL to interview Zhin and Bolin exclusive. 1 ep each guy. Sure very conclusive.
